Do you prefer the dressed to the nine, suited up hero or the rough, casual, stubbled hero best?

Why?

I like a hero that lives in jeans and only wears suits when it's called for.

Ashley (shinhbang) | 139 comments I like both.

Zee Monodee (zee_monodee) | 688 comments Both. But my real requisite is - shower every day! LOL

Joanna Mikalis (joannamikalis) | 13 comments A little bit of both...remember that scene in Pride and Prejudice (with Colin Firth and Jennifer Ehle) when Mr. Darcy takes a quick dip in the pond? While great symbolism for "rebirth" or "baptism", it had the added benefit of turning the hot proper man (ie, in the suit) into sexy casual man (if only for a few minutes). It was enough to know he could be both successful and relaxed.

In real life I got to go with clean shaven and dress casual but not too casual (T-shirts and jeans). But books make scruffy sound so sexy.

message 7: by NS (new)

NS (thepoisonedrose) I'm going to say rough, casual, and stubbled ;-) think Hugh Jackman as Wolverine *sighhh. Why? I like my men to look dangerous and intimidating as well as darn right sexy, and suits just don't do that for me hehe

Fashionista (fashionista99) | 187 comments I love a well dressed man with a square jaw - gets me every time! But, believe me he can still be sexy in jeans and a t-shirt too! I think Dmitry Medlov (dressed so dapper) from the Medlov Series has spoiled me for other men! ;-) Then, Dmitry takes those clothes off and reveals that hard body filled with tattoos and scars! Pow - so f**king sexy! That particular combination drives me crazy! Dmitry's Closet (The Medlov Crime Family, #1) by Latrivia S. Jessica (studioeastrat) | 511 comments I agree Fashionista. A hero who knows how to dress is really sexy. Although...I also love the rugged warrior just off the battlefield covered in dirt. I guess for me it is more about how they carry themselves rather than how they are dress.

Awilk -never sleeps- (awilk) | 98 comments I like both. There is a time and place for both with a man. Nothing is sexier than a usually scruffy man all dressed up.

Well said, Awilk. Since I love tough guys, I have to agree with you, Jessica. I like a guy who is casual most of the time, but cleans up really nice.

Good hygiene is a must, but I don't normally feel drawn to clotheshorse guys.

Zee Monodee (zee_monodee) | 688 comments Oooh, gotta love a rough-around-the-edges hero cleaning up nicely *swoon*

message 13: by Adis (new)

Adis (mylunar) | 19 comments I love both,, depends on place and time. And the most important thing is the way he carry himself. Alpha male hero had those sexy aura which made me melting and curling my toes no matter what he wear. Well, I prefer bare chested *grin*

Sunny☼ (sunny2) | 146 comments I'm swooning here from above comments. I like a little patch of hair on the big strong chest, just enough to nuzzle a nose in ...on the way down....
