Rough Outline for Plot

Here we can discuss the outline for the plot of the comic.

This is what I'm thinking for the novel. We are using the same story for both right?

Blackstorm finds Laykin (who in the book would be a female and not a male) in the woods at the start of winter (mating season). He brings her to the pack to be his mate that season, but after their pups are born and banishment time comes, he can't bring himself to banish her, so he lets her stay as the second Alpha. The pack members don't like it and turn against him bringing the uplanders into it along with Scarlet's pack.
Saelynne has been trying to find Laykin since she left the tribal people. She gets word of her. Meanwhile, a war has started against Blackstorm and the few wolves that agreed with him. Enter Saelynne who finds Laykin to be the center of the battle.
I don't quite have the ending figured out, but the war will probably end and Blackstorm wins or he runs away and his new band form a new pack.
How does that sound?

OOHHH! Maybe one wolf (An elder, preferably) could travel to the Uplands, seeking help. They would tell the Uplanders that their leader has destroyed a tradition. Instead, the Uplanders kill the elder for tresspassing, along with stealing a Cragg's Pack pup as punishment for letting the elder cross over the mountains.

Then that can get both the Lowlanders and Cragg's pack riled up for an attack.

Good idea! We'll need an elder though.

That'll be easy. We'll have to name the elder, but the pup and parents can just be side characters, going unnamed.
