Oklahoma - smack ass in the center of the US!Red Sox - you bet. Varitek announced his retirement this week. Not going to feel like the same with the Capt. I inherited the Red Sox when I married a Boston man ... New England Patriots too! Not too shabby ... they've both been winning pretty consistently the last few years.
Have you seen the movie Money Ball? Or, read the book? This is the future of baseball!

I was sad to see him announce the retirement. I look at it that 1 chapter ends and a new one begins. Did you see the stuff on Dice~K? He is looking pretty good!

If you like movies with a sports theme, yes, very good. I do and I like the topic. Using statistics and removing the emotion in baseball.I'm not a big Dice K fan. I think this will be a transition year for them. They sucked the BIG wazzooo last year, so hope they do better this year.

Oh, I know. My hubby loves the Celtics too. OKC has a new basketball team [Thunder] he wanted me to try to get tickets for a Celtics game and they are GOLDEN - not happening. We did go see the Sox last year when they played the Rangers [we are in OKC]. All good, but I think I'm getting old and prefer the big flat screen in the air conditioning in my recliner. I can get beer and hot dogs just fine at home!

"If you want to try something different for you hot dogs, boil them in water with 1/2 a can of what ever beer your drinking. It comes out really nice:)
