I would like to clarify why I think the above is a hoot. The women in the ads are not that big, in fact, they are a healthy weight. I just love the fact that what is considered "sexy" now, was considered un-healthy at the time, and to GAIN weight was what was encouraged. If only we could find a balance between those ideals and modern ones......
