I feel so dumb...someone please explain. Might affact a lot of people explain.

Yeah, I remember that there was a girl that Clary Recognised in CoG, but don't remember it being Tessa. And who is being reincarnated? I have never heard this rumour before....None of them can be a silent brother. there is too, much evidence why.
The Silent brother in CoLS (Can't remember his name so he is going to be brother Zachariah, now.)
1) He has said that he has no children, (they both have children, by the end of te series.)
2) there is a Carstairs girl in the Dark artifacts (the first book is Lady Midnight)
3) Jace is a Herondale....(although he could be a descendant of Cecily-I think it said somewhere that his great, great grandfathers' name was William...or am i dreaming...)
4) if Jace was a descendant of Cecily. he would have a different last name..)

Tessa is the person that Magnus is talking to at the celebration thing I think it is page 525 I'm not positive.When Clary asked Brother Zachariah if he had ever loved any one he said he only ever loved 2 people. Will and Tessa? Jem and Tessa? (I think he's Jem)

Yeah, but there is a Carstairs girl in the Dark Artifacts! and he is the last of the Carstairs! and when she asked brother Zachariah if he had any children, he said 'no!'
-sorry, i don't mean to be getting angry. i just don't want either of them as a silent brother. i'd hate to think why someone would choose that life for themselves...

In the book Jem believes in living another life. I am still confused but otay.

Could he mean, Will and Jem? Hopefully not.

Yeah, at least we know that she dosn't die.....I actually hope she is Magnus's sister....
Ok so if you guys are guessing that Brother Zachariah is infact Jem, which is highly possible, because:1) He believes in living another life.
2) Being one of the silent brothers will save his life.
But also if he became one of the silent brothers straight away, then there shouldn't be a Carstairs descendent, because Jem doesn't have a sibling? unless he has a cousin? I don't know! but all I know is that Jem doesn't have any siblings.
Therefore leaving Will.... if Will and Tessa did decide on staying together, they still wouldn't be able to have a child, since Tessa is unable to carry a child. Ofcourse we all know Will has a descendent, Jace. Again, unless Will has a cousin. Can't be his siblings, as they are girls.
Which leaves me with a conclusion that Tessa may have decided to leave them both and roam around the world.???? Brother Zachariah must be someone else?

I don't think either of them becomes a Silent Brother because Brother Z says that he never had children and I'm pretty sure they have to have children in order to have descendents living in the present day e.g. Will is an ancestor of Jace and Jem is Emma's ancestor.Bro z could be Gabriel or Gideon...

I'm predicting maybe Cecily and Gabriel begin to like each other and then something happens that results in him having to become a silent brother. He could be Brother Z who knows alot about the Herondales because he liked Cecily..?!

Wait! The link I posted just above shows the information about Gabriel Lightwood. At the part where it says Future Relatives from TMI, it says Alec Lightwood- great great grandson.....So Gabriel can't be a Silent Brother
He can be if he made Cecily pregnant before he died/ changed into a silent brother (although that seems quite unlikely). And thats how the lightooods have dark hair and blue eyes like Will and Cecily...
I am guessing right now that it is either Jem or Gabriel

Ok I have a new lead! This maybe a bit out of the blue, but i makes sense in my head. Ok so 'he' may not be a 'he' but a 'she'! Tessa Gray.
ahhh! I'm so confused right now! Why do you think Brother Zachariah is from the infernal devices? is there a lead or what? :D

Actually, it makes complete sense that they could be Silent Brothers.
Some of the reasons why people think that Will or Jem is Brother Z are:
-he knows A LOT about the Herondales and is obsessed with Jace
- he tells Clary that he loved two people enough to break any oath...
- and that he suffered loss
- he "seems to feel" as Clary said, more than other Silent Brothers which is what Magnus said about Will to Tessa
- we never see his facial features (even though some of them would be mutilated and he would be bald so I guess that wouldn't tell us a ton)
- he sounds amused at times when he "talks" to people
- when we met an Iron Sister in CoLS, she said that she changed her name when she entered the Sisterhood, so just because his name is Zacharias doesn't mean that it wasn't ever anything else
-Ms. Clare said that Jem has an uncle in London who wanted Jem to come live with him, but by then Jem already had Will as a parabatai, and a sort of family at the London Institute. So even though Silent Brothers can't have kids/be in relationships, the Carstairs girl in the Dark Artifices doesn't need to be directly descended from him. Same goes for Will - his parents might have had another boy in his absence that we have yet to learn of who is Jace's ancestor, or Will could simply have other relations elsewhere.

Does that clear it up? I'm not saying that he IS one of them for certain, but there are certainly plenty of reasons why he MIGHT be.
i tink he is jem. mabey tessa can have children and jace is hers and wills? or at leastthat is what i hope for.

That would actually make a lot of sense if she was Magnus' sister, or half sister...

on wikia it says that brother zachariah has dark hair and dark eyes, which jem, will, gabriel, and gideon all don't have.
also, i think jem and will are going to have kids, which brother zachariah didn't.
also, jace basically has to be descended from will, because if cecily had a baby, the baby would have her husband's last name.
mabey jace is wills and tessas grand son.
because jaces parents are the blond dude who was friends whit valentine and the chik after lukes sister
and mabey brotehr jerema.. is wills dad
