I said I'd be back with an official woot woot today, hopefully.
Not only did I get the new client, but they called to tell me last night at 9:25 p.m. immediately after they voted. Normally, they'll at least wait to notify me until the next day. Hahahha.. They were REALLY excited. :)
Soooooo WOOOOTTTTT WOOOOTTTTTT!!!

YAY, Jenny!! You needed this! :)

My family just got a dog today. He's a 2 year old Keeshound, which is basically a giant dog version of a teddy bear! I love him already.

I showed her the cover, which she thought was "cool", but she fell asleep before we got the chance to read it. :(
I see the kids all the time so we'll get another chance. I have a grandson who is 9, so I have 2 I can read it with!

My 'Magical Chapters Trilogy' ('Witchlet,' 'The Pineapple Loving Dragon' and 'A Magical Storm') is aimed at the same age group. 'Jinx And The Faerie Dragons' is better, and longer, but they're an option for you to check out if you're interested. I mean, they can't be that bad if the worst complaints I've had were that people wish they were longer, and someone thinks I should have said "animals" rather than "meat" when saying what vegetarians don't eat (despite the dictionary definition saying "meat or fish"). Still, I think that last is a matter of personal preference, and the reviewer is entitled to their opinion. Anyway, just thought I'd give them a mention.

I told you guys a couple of months ago that I spent about 1 hour with a librarian on the phone pleading to get David's book into the Toronto Public Library.
After months of waiting, when I was on the brink of resignation, I got an email last night saying that 4 COPIES OF THE MOON DWELLERS HAVE BEEN PLACED ON ORDER FOR THE TPL!!! THAT'S 4 PAPERBACK COPIES!!!
Here's the link (not sure if this works in the US).

WOOT WOOT!!! I'm so happy for David- I hope this leads to more exposure and accessibility for his books in the Great North!

What!? Really!? Oh my gosh, that's INCREDIBLE!!! You are my personal hero, Daniel! I'm so honored that you'd take the time to do that for me, put a HUGE smile on my face :) Hey, as a very small token of my thanks, would you like some signed bookmarks that showcase the Dwellers/Country Saga? If so, send me your full name and address in a personal message and I'll drop them in the mail for you. THANK YOU!!

Yay, I'm so glad you're happy! I thought it would be good to bring the Moon Dwellers to the library, because in Canada, they don't sell paperback copies of your books in bookstores. Maybe this will help increase the number of people reading your books in Canada.
Of course, I would love the bookmarks! I will send you a note shortly.
