I've had so many woots lately, I don't think I can list them all!

Today I got some AWESOME mail ;) Actually, I've gotten a ton of mail the last few days, and when I was gone :) My art friends sent me a ton of stuff so I'd have a big pile when I came home :) Aren't they sweet??

Leight Talbert Moore sent me an eARC of her new book--totally spontaneously! She knows how much I love and push her books :) Love it! Really made my day!

And my paycheck today was almost double what I normally get!! (all those extra hours in the beginning of the month)

I had a visitor! Love this picture of this little princess. A past employee and beloved friend had precious Savannah 2 1/2 weeks ago. She knows my crazy work hours so she brought Savannah to me!!!



And while I was holding her, the doorbell rang and a package was delivered. One of my besties, Jen, sent me just cause! She knew I was missing this from my collection!! You rock, Jen!!! Love you to pieces girlfriend!!

And lastly, I had to run some errands this afternoon but was exhausted so stopped at Starbucks' drivethrough. When I got to the window, the guy told me my drink was free because the car in front of me bought my expensive coffee as a random act of kindness!!! OMG!

What is going on today??! What a fabulous day! Babies, books and coffee!! WOOT WOOT!

If everything goes well I should be able to get a decent android tablet soon-ish!

Which also means that I can get to the pile of R&R books that I have lost the ability to read because the LCD on my computer is going out and my nook is basically dead.

I have felt so guilty but when I try to read the R&R books on my dying computer it often wont let me change the size of the reading screen and then half the book is cut off. BUT PROBLEM SOLVED. until i can buy an lcd screen to replace it and take it apart and fix all its stupid bs.

I woke up late this morning (love sleeping in!) and the SUN is SHINING!!! YAY!!! I was soooo tired of rain and thunderstorms.

Awwwwww, Jenny! That does make a big difference in your mood. We have sunshine all year round and on those days we have cloudy days, it messes me all up! I have skylights in my office and it gets so dark so my brain doesn't know how to deal with that.

We start our monsoon season now in Arizona, so we SHOULD have at least SOME of those types of days (but no tornados!). We all look forward to the rain and thunderstorms!! But the lack of sunlight does affect my brain! And it will now start to get muggy. No more dry heat. :( Also a big difference. I can handle 115 degree days easily if it's dry. But muggy and 115 degrees just zaps EVERYTHING out of us.

But... we need the rain, so woot woot to monsoon season? ;) Hahahaahah...

We've had way too much rain--flooding, flooding, flooding! Downed trees, downed power lines, hail damage, tornado damage....we need lots of calm, sunny days for awhile to recover! It was pretty widespread too, but Iowa and Illinois seem to have caught the worst of it. In Chicago, people had to just abandon their cars and walk to the airport for shelter. 3 feet of water on the streets. Nasty stuff!

oh my god, I've never been in that much rain! The closest was when I was visiting my grandparents in India during monsoon, and there was a foot of rain.

Jenny: We h similar weather similar, though not quite as bad; there were thunder storms, downed power lines, winds strong enough to tear down trees and damage some buildings, and enough rain to cause flooding, but no tornados, and the flooding wasn't as bad as with you. We've had quite nice weather the past month or so though, with only the odd bit of bad weather.
