Here's another woot! On Kindle's daily deals there is a book by Matthew Quick called The Good Luck of Right Now for $1.99!! Matthew Quick wrote The Silver Linings Playbook. This book that is $1.99 is normally $25.99!

My woot woot is that despite a horrible horrible sprained ankle, Darryl (my hubby) was going to grill tonight no matter what! lol The first grill of the season, and it was sooooo GOOD!!

My woot woot today--today when I was alone and in charge of supper in the kitchen, the state health inspector showed up (we get reviewed twice a year),and I was able to answer EVERYTHING perfectly AND we got no violations!! WOOOOT!! I was pretty proud of myself :) My boss was super happy as well, he stopped by on a fluke today after the inspector left. We are good for 6 more months!

Thanks! Another really awesome Woot woot--I was talking with a new online friend about something that happened to me when I was 27. She's watched some of my videos, and she was like, "27? You don't even look like you could be 28!" WOOOOT! (I'm 36) :D Love those kind of compliments!

Autumn Weaver from Boone won the Miss Iowa competition, and is headed to the nationals!!! I was one of her 4H leaders :D So so proud of her!

This is the best part of the article for me:

"All pageant contestants are asked to choose a platform - a cause they bring awareness to. Weaver’s chosen platform is anti-bullying. She said she chose this platform because she is against bullying and because she was bullied in middle school and high school. Some of the students who bullied her in school made fun of her because she is deaf, but able to hear thanks to a cochlear implant she received when she was 3 years old.

“I told them I would try out for a pageant,” Weaver recalled saying. “Watch me.”

Jenny, I'm not someone who reads 100 books a year. I read about 40-50 books last year that I think I need to review. I've done about 25 or so, and I've got about 15-25 remaining. Thanks!
