I just got off the phone from a 30 minute conversation with a public librarian about getting the Moon Dwellers for Toronto Public library.
I've submitted a purchase request by email and I hope to get the book in a few library branches across Toronto in a couple of months.
I look forward to reading this book when/if the library decides to shelve it.

I had a wonderful spring break day today with the kiddos! Lots of just hanging out and relaxing.

Tessa and I made this quiche today, it was SO GOOD!!



And the girls and I went and saw the Lego Movie in 3D tonight. It was pretty good, we loved it! Most of it was just LOL silliness, until the end when we all realized what was really going on, and then it had an amazing message. Really loved the ending! Everyone in the theater was laughing! I definitely recommend seeing it!

So.....I have been to the library three times looking for the book Ruby Red so I can check it out to make sure I like it as I've been obsessing over buying the trilogy for my bookshelf. Every time I've gone to the library it's checked out but today it was there!!!!! Squeal!!!!!!!!!!!! I have Red Ruby in my hand! Woot! Woot!

EVERYTHING IS AWESOME - EVERYTHING IS COOL WHEN YOU'RE PART OF A TEAM . . .

I think I may go see it just for that song alone. Emma said it was fantastic. She also played the "dark" song by Batman, which is pretty much flat out hilarious.

Speaking of which, she and I are going to see Divergent tomorrow! I'll let you know how it is!

Saw Divergent yesterday afternoon.

And . . . wow, just as good an adaptation as Catching Fire! They really didn't leave much out! I really liked it. These screenwriters are catching on and keeping the movies really close to the books.

I'll be interested to see if The Maze Runner is as good as this one.

Do you think it has a lot to do with the authors involvement in the movies Jen? I think it does because I have heard the authors being on the sets a lot. I also think they will bop someone on the ears if they mess their books up. Hehe.
