Soooo I am so happy right now. my brother is home from the navy to get married this weekend. We haven't seen him in a year since last March when I got married. I have missed him so much!!! Woot woot!! I'm going to the Tucson Festival of Books this coming weekend!! So many amazing authors will be there!! And our own Q&A author Ilsa J. Bick will be there and is doing a panel with R.L. Stine (author of the Goosebumps series)!!

I can't wait to go. I'll be making a day trip on Sunday with a couple of the grandkids!! So excited. So many authors I want to meet! But especially Ilsa, since I've been Facebook friends with her for a couple of years!!

I've finally published the 3rd book of my trilogy

And, the 1st book is now free on amazon and smashwords. It'd be great if lots of you download a copy, good if you read it, and brilliant if you decide to review.

My original Kindle coughed and died tonight. i about cried:(......sadness......so darn I had to go buy a replacement & I bought a Kindle Paperwhite! It is touch screen with a backlit screen! Woot! Woot! The funny thing is last night I just said to my husband that I wanted a Kindle Paperwhite when mine dies! Funny how that works!

I'm debating on getting a second ereader for the beach! Darn that commercial about the Kindle on the beach with the song "Halo". I have a Nook tablet and while it's not quite as bad as in the commercial, it is hard to see my screen in the bright sun.

Most of my books are Nooks though so I would probably do the Nook's version.

I love my Kindle so wanted to replace it with another Kindle! Amazon has such good deals on books too! I used to have a Nook which my was handed down to my son & I thought the Nook books were a little more pricey...may not be the case anymore. I wanted my device purely for reading so didn't buy a tablet!

Karen I know right? I just said last night I wanted to replace my own when it died with a Paperwhite....didn't think it would be the next day! I'm excited though! First ereader with a backlit screen! Woot!

Yes, Kindle has lots of special deals that Nook doesn't get! My Nook tablet has a Kindle app but it takes a while to load sometimes and I'm impatient so if the books are the same price or just a few cents off, I'll get the Nook version. But for the Kindle Firsts or Daily Deals, it's Kindle all day long! Worth the extra time to load the book. :)
