A non woot woot--B&N send a book I ordered to my old address. :( Amazon did the same thing a few months ago! UGH I went through all my sites today and made sure my old address was deleted off of all my accounts. So now I'm waiting for this darn book to get forwarded to me, but it appears to have stalled somewhere. Who knows when I'll get it--or even if I'll get it. UGH B&N really wasn't that helpful, unlike Amazon was!

LOL love the snarky, Jen!!

My first thought when reading your comment--"I WISH I could walk the red carpet!" My second thought--"No, never mind, too much pressure. That would require me to go on a crash diet and lose 20 lbs, go get my hair done, legs waxed, and then of course THE DRESS....forget it, I'd rather stay at home eating a bowl of ice cream!"

message 1736: by Caedy (new)

Caedy Eries (karida) | 151 comments So, today started out rather crappily for me - HOWEVER, since I got off work early I stopped by the library to pick up the copy of Siege and Storm (The Grisha, #2) by Leigh Bardugo , which I'd had on hold, and come to find out that the "Friends of the Library" is having a weekend special on their booksale stuff. The sale this weekend is "Fill a bag for $3," and guess who had $3 in her pocket?

That's right this girl!

I got about 10-15 books and a lot of them are hardback. So that pretty much made my day.

It's NA and hilariously funny. There are still a few chapters to go (she's sending them later this week) and some editing, but honestly? What a privilege! I've been up all night but the characters were so much fun that I didn't even notice. Gotta get to bed, it's 5AM!

Woot woot for a great haul at the library today!

Cinder (Lunar Chronicles, #1) by Marissa Meyer Struck (Struck, #1) by Jennifer Bosworth The Farm (The Farm, #1) by Emily McKay Sweet Legacy (Medusa Girls, #3) by Tera Lynn Childs The Eye of Minds (The Mortality Doctrine, #1) by James Dashner

And I made Tessa's day when I picked up Ever After High The Storybook of Legends by Shannon Hale !! I'll probably read it, too, it looks pretty cute! New sister series of Monster High, but this one is the kids of fairy tale characters instead of monsters.

AND I can finally start my reread of Cinder!!
