Thanks! Not sure if she's going back to school tomorrow or not--we'll have to see how she's feeling in the morning. Have a dentist appointment for Thursday, basically a consulation to figure out what we can do about her teeth.

Thanks Karen! She is doing better, she went back to school today. The swelling has gone way down, thank goodness! She is an awesome kid :)

Well, there's nothing better than hanging out in your pj's with your mom on a lazy day, even if you are in pain. And I'm sure the drugs helped a lot! I'll say a quick prayer that her teeth can be fixed without pain and/or trouble. I'm so glad she's ok - and that she has that optimistic attitude. Totally a reflection of you.

I think the amazing thing about this is simply that you are no longer an aspiring writer - you're an author with a book!

Guess who passed her mid-term essay??? This girl!! oh ya!! xD xD. Honetly tho, thank God. I was so over stressed I didn't think I'll pass. But I did and they (or he or she IDK who ) liked my conculsion! Which I was most worried about! Woot! I just found one of my local libraries - which my daughter told me was lame - and it is decidedly NOT lame! Fabulous YA section!

As soon as I can get a library card (can't until January, complicated "primary residence" problem), I am totally cleaning them out of every book I want to read.

They also have a few tables of books for sale, so I picked up . He also wrote Shadow of the Wind and I've heard really good things about him on BookTube. We'll see. Sounds interesting.

So woot! I needed a woot today!

I am putting in a requisition for a woot here. I just spent about 7 hours editing my October Wrap-up for my Booktube channel - and it is only 6 minutes long with 21 books. And cool pictures and effects.

I am now blind and unable to form a coherent sentence, as well as unable to walk since I've been sitting here at the kitchen table for said 7 hours.

Be warned: you should watch it before you woot. Also, half a woot taken away because I have to drive to Starbucks to upload the thing. But I do assure you that it will indeed be interesting.

Couple of woots for me yesterday:

Parent/teacher conferences: This was my first time sitting down with Tessa's teacher and really talking about her. She's in a new district, so it was good getting to know exactly how they do things. I had volunteered to help in the classroom earlier in the year, and her teacher asked me to do a book club for her class--come in once a week and lead discussions, etc. She and Tessa are going to pick the book. I was thrilled, talk about something that's perfect for me! Also, her teacher was so impressed with Tessa's writing. Tessa's been working on some short stories, and the teacher has been giving her class time to finish them and get them typed up. How awesome! She says she has a great "author voice" and is amazing as dialogue! WOOT!!!

Also last night was the older kids' orchestra concert! I love going to those, their school orchestra is super good. They have the best music teacher in the state. So very enjoyable!
