Last Friday, I jumped off a 25-foot-drop cliff towards the ocean! I fear drowning on open water and heights, so it's an accomplishment!

Woot, woot to a wonderful finale of "How I Met Your Mother!" Alison even had her best friend stay over tonight, because they don't have cable, and we have HDTV so the girls could watch it! Fun times!

Something awesome happened today!! But first, you should watch this video my one of my fave Booktubers, Charley Reads.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LoDsoM...
Its her woes about how many times she tries to get others reading and they only end up making fun of her. This happens to me frequently too, although I never let it bother me...it does make me sad though, how many people do not read!
Anyways, my immediate boss, Janice loves to read, and we were talking about books when we did that library project at work. She loves suspense. So I lent her my
book by Dean Koontz. She read it this last weekend, and she LOVED it!!! She asked me if she could read the next one. So I'll be lending her that one as well! These moments don't happen to me a lot in real life, other than my mom, so WOOT WOOT!!!

WOOT WOOT Jenny! It's the best feeling in the world when someone actually reads and likes a book you've recommended. I get all giddy when that happens! It happens so few and far between in our "real" life.

It does make me feel sad when someone I know chooses the movies over reading the books. w00t w00t Jenny!

Oh my gosh, that's amazing and that's one of my favorite books by my favorite author so I'm not surprised! If she liked that one, she'd probably like Fear Nothing by Koontz too, and maybe his Frankenstein series (SOOOOO GOOD!)

Yup, I suggested a few other Dean Koontz, but she wants to read the rest of Odd Thomas first. I can't blame her there, its one of my fave series ever! I still need to read the Frankenstein one, it looks good!
Thanks, everyone, I'm so happy you all "get it!"

David, have you read the final book in the Frankenstein series. I started to, but couldn't get back into it for some reason. I think I would have if I didn't have to wait so long for it. What did YOU think? If you liked it, I'll pick it back up! ;-D

I used to have a lot of people that I borrowed books to, but now they don't live near to me so we can't borrow books to each other :/

Are there 5? If so then I've read them all and loved the 5 th as much as the others ;) Highly recommend!

Oh noooo, Jenny. Little punkin! I hate it when kids are sick. You just want to be sick for them rather than see them miserable.

I feel all giddy and giggly now because I just made a page for my book and claimed my author page. Still waiting for Goodreads to approve me or something, but hey. :)It feels really weird.
Check it out! There isn't much info yet, but that will come.

I just found out that my company was just named one of the top TEN in our industry in all of Arizona for 2014!! This will be our 8th year in a row we've made top 10 since the first year my best friend and I started the business!
WOOT WOOT! :-D

      WOOOOOT!!!
Is that the thing we voted on for you not too long ago? If so, I'm going to go pat myself on the back now :)
Stayed up super late tonight, Alison and I watched the Great Gatsby! Loved it! Of course, it has BOTH Leo and Tobey in it, so I might be a bit biased! lol

Pat yourself on the back, my friend! We did it!!! I won't know how we placed until it's officially announced in February next year. All we get is that we're in the top 10.
I think I'm going to rent that movie tomorrow night. If you liked it, I'm sure I will!

Oh, man, that would suck! You must watch the whole thing, the ending was amazing! Loved the ending. I thought it was really well done, though at times a little much. Some things could have been more subtle, although the end had a little more of that factor, which is probably why I liked it so much. Actually, it reminded me a little of Moulin Rouge at times, but much better acting lol!

I'm trying sooooo hard to feel bad for you here -
yeeeeaaaaahhhh - NO.
Nope, can't do it.
You're landing in Greece, country of my vacation dreams. I'm too envious to be feeling bad for you about a movie. Sorry. Except I'm really not sorry . . . I want your life give it to me now

We are all jealous of David right now, I think, but I don't really want to "switch" lives I don't think--I'm pretty happy with my own :)
Enjoy the movie, and yes, I want a full report!

Jen, bahahahahaha yes I think I can't feel sorry for David here. The only country I've been to other then my own is Canada. Greece sounds nice ;)And yes, full report on Gravity!

I would love to switch the traveling parts of David's life with him! I'm paying close attention to where he goes so I can decide where to travel to next year for my vacation. ;-)
I couldn't switch lives with him because I don't have a lick of creativity in me. My books would be soooooo boring. Haaha...

Woot, woot! My third book, Forgotten Valor (Shadows of Valor #2), is set up for pre-order on Smashwords and will go live on November 20. This is something new on Smashwords, which I think is fantastic.
Check out my sample here and then keep an eye out on Kobo, Apple or B&N if you'd like to pre-order.

So excited! I'll keep you all posted.
Now, just got to write #3 and we'll be all set.

Good for you, Alisha!
I discovered a new fear of roller coasters about 3 years ago. Signs of getting old, I think. I used to be an adrenaline junkie!
