OK, now that the kids are back in school and everything is back to its normally scheduled chaos, I got back to my writing for the first time since the beginning of Sept.

I sat and I wrote today. As I was writing, I came up with a new twist that I am so excited about!!

I wrote 4,783 words today. Bringing my total word count up to 67,854!!! Not only that, but I think I may also have a sequel on my hands!!

Can I get a woot woot!!!

I'm way too tired to write it all over again, so I'm just copying and pasting from my FB status...

I did it! I really really really did it!!! I just finished the first draft of my first novel. I finished the story with 83,076 words. My goal was 85,000. I can't even begin to describe the feeling I have right now. I'm in a bit of shock, but in a good way. The story is totally different than I thought it out originally. I have to say, the ending is quite awesome and a great cliffhanger to a sequel. Brooke Watts DelVecchio, Stephanie Judice, Tina Donnelly. You three ladies have been a big part of my motivation to keep going. Thank you so much. Now, the hard part. Brooke, you ready? LOL I did it!!!! Woot woot!!!!!

OK, THIS is a really funny story and I totally get a BIG WOOT WOOT for this!!!

So last night I went to B&N to meet with some friends and just hang out. When I sat down in the cafe I saw this guy that would be PERFECT for my book cover.

Long story short, after freaking out and being a totally nervous and crazy 16 year old giddy mess, I went over to him!!! LOLOLOL

I told him that I am an author and he reminded me of one of the characters in my book. And then I asked him if he was interested in being the cover model for my book!! LOL

He turned BEAT BEAT FIRE RED!!! He was sooooo cute!!!! LOLOLOLOL he asked me about the book. He was totally shocked and embarrassed and that made him even more appealing.

So I told him to think about it and if he was interested he should give me a call and I gave him my number.

OK, now....CAN I GET A WOOT WOOT!!!!!
