Yes, write a book! Mine were also two months early, and they were in the NICU about 3 weeks. They did really well! I know what you mean about people whining, we had a 15 month old baby and two newborns that had to be fed every two hours! When we had Tessa 5 years later, it felt so easy, lol!

Here's a pic of the boys when they were 2 months old

Here they are about a year ago, with Alison

I'm going to post some more pics on Facebook, so if you are a friend of mine on Facebook, look for those.

Alana ~ The Book Pimp (loonyalana) | 295 comments I finally have a Woot!

My youngest (5 years old) is going to be starting Kindergarten... AGAIN (we pulled him out of a charter school after 3½ weeks)... and it sounds like this school might actually work with him and not just imply they want to kick him out after the first few days. Little victories (he has ADHD so bad, even his pediatrician thought he was autistic, but according to his neurologist he's not autistic... it's just been a nightmare for the last month)

Awwww--I'm sorry to hear about your struggles, Alana, but I know exactly what you mean! Woot, woot for starting Kindergarten, though, that is a huge success, not just a little victory!

That's great Alana... Hope it goes well!

Alana ~ The Book Pimp (loonyalana) | 295 comments Thanks, guys. It's been a battle, and I am ready to call a truce and nurse my wounds. I don't think I'm tooting the 'charter school' horn anymore like I used to- since they 'failed' my and my youngest.

Appreciate y'all thinking of me!

Alana, I feel for you. My son has ADHD really bad too and we struggled through his entire childhood. But he is an incredible adult and father now at 35! It was worth every minute of the challenges we went through.

Hang in there and woot woot for Kindergarten!! :)

Yea, Jen! Most ADHD's are hugely gifted! My son is incredibly talented musically and his IQ is off the charts - way up there in the genius level.

Alana ~ The Book Pimp (loonyalana) | 295 comments Umm... not quite a Woot!, more of a *I'm freaking out* thing... but

a little after Easter we got two boy baby bunnies. King Elvis and George. We've enjoyed them, and loved them, and had them in the same cage (they were brothers after all) and then... Elvis started treating George not like a brother but *ahem* chasing him around the cage (I think you get where I am going with this...) Well, in George's best interest, we separated them, probably about 1-2 months ago. Just found out this morning, George is a girl. There were baby bunnies in the bedding, and I just about peed in my pants. George is a girl. I can't get that out of my head. Anyone live in TX and want an inbred baby bunny? ;)

LOL Alana, funny story! I don't live in Texas, sorry! Isn't it kind of hard to tell the sex of bunnies when they are babies? Maybe that was the problem...

So I've had one of those really long hard work weeks. My shortest day has been about 13 hours but no big deal because I'm on vacation next week and can relax then. Today I had to attend a trade show. Long week, long day and I was really tired and just wanted to go home and say nite nite. Well, I stuck around for the vendor drawings. I never win at these things, ever!

I won a $500 American Express gift card!! WOOT WOOT!! And before I could head back to my seat with my prize in hand, my name is called AGAIN!! Yup twice in a row! This time a massage at a spa! What!?? What a great ending to a really tough week!! :-D

Hehe not exactly, I wish! I've had two "inquiries" about the film option for The Moon Dwellers, one that doesn't seem that serious and one that has potential. My agent has met with the serious inquiry once and is waiting to hear back.

I'm not holding my breath but it's still cool!!
