That's a really nice collection. I have a lot of the same books. My OCD would not allow me to split up a series though.

Thanks, David and Kelly!

@Kelly--yeah, that is the thing that's bugging me, splitting up the series. I'll just have to live with it. It looks so much better than it did before, and now I have a great backdrop for shooting my videos!

Loving the pictures, Jenny! My favorites are the pink and purple section.

I'm like Kelly, I would not be able to break up a series. I get all panicked when one book is put back in the wrong spot. Hahaahha...

At least I can look at your creative and pretty bookshelves! ;-D

I have a WOOT WOOT and a quick favor to ask of my GR friends.

My company has made it in the top 10 of Arizona for the past 7 years (as long as we've been in business!) and it's time to vote again for the 2014 top ten. Could you take a minute and vote for Integrity First Property Management? :) I own a community management company - (we manage homeowner associations).

Go to http://aznow.biz/ranking-arizona and type in Integrity First Property Management and we should pop up. Type in your email address and hit vote. If you have a couple of different emails that you use, vote twice. I will love you forever!!

Woot woot on eight incredible years of owning my own successful company!! :)

It popped up 2 different choices, one for commerical and one for residential. Which one do we choose?

Jen (jenwesner) | 1222 comments Woot Woot! Last night my life was looking like a serious nightmare with having to find an apt for 2 college girls whose lease is up on July 17, moving furniture to them, moving more furniture from IN to NC for them, moving me back to IN from NC in time for a renter to move into the condo on July 19, and figuring out where to put the kid who can't move into the dorm until Aug 17. What a mess.

So, me and the kid prayed about it and went to bed.

This morning, I got a call saying that I have an offer on my condo! I cried! I can stay until closing - probably September 1 - move the kid into the dorm in August, and we can move furniture gradually. Tomorrow I go down to help the 2 other girls find an apartment. Still lots of details to work out - but God is good! Woot!

So I am on cloud nine with my new job. Today the manager of the facility came in to talk to me, and let me know that one of my co-workers told her she loves working with me and I'm a lot of fun! THEN she sampled some of the potato salad I was making today and complimented me on my cooking!! Does it get any better 3 weeks after starting a new job???
I love it so far, I love my co-workers, and the residents are great, too! And its so laid back and relaxed for kitchen work. Woot, woot!

I wanted to go on and on with a YouTube comment but thought instead I'd yammer endlessly over here. First off, love Goodwill! What a great haul! I have to say that I do love the books there, but I take such delight in looking down at my clothing these days and realising the total dollar amount of my outfit is under $10 and all Goodwill but the underwear! lol! That collectible copy of Rebecca of Sunnybrook Farm is priceless. I try and grab books like that when I can; I actually have a collectible copy of Timothy's Quest by Kate Douglas Wiggin that's in storage. Rebecca was one of my favs as a kid - doesn't she buy a lamp for her mother in that story? There's an odd memory for you.
We are heading up to our county fair (annual family event) the last week of July. I did 4-H for years - do your kids have animals? I'm thinking they must if it's an all-day every-day thing. Best of luck to them with ribbons! I was just craving fried everything today, especially the cups of french fries with malt vinegar. Yum. Have a great week there next week.

I love Goodwill so much, too, Jen! I buy lots of the kids clothes there. I also buy things for me occasionally, but I honestly get a lot of hand-me-downs from my sister. She used to work for Eddie Bauer and she is a clothes horse! She cleans out her closets twice a year and gives me all her clothes she no longer wants, so I am always getting almost new clothes from her!
The kids don't have animals--actually, this year we don't have that many exhibits to bring, normally we have loads! But since I'm a club leader, I have to be there a lot for different events. Tuesday is only the afternoon, and is set up day. Wednesday is judging day for the older three, and I am there to help the rest of the kids in the club. Judging starts at 8:30 and is over about 3. Thursday is mostly an easy day, we don't have to be there until noon--Its Tessa's club judging day. Its really informal because its younger kids. Friday morning we volunteer at Extravaganza, which is a set up of all different kinds of hands-on booths for kids. Our club has two booths--one for face painting and one for playing "Will it Float or Sink?" Then we have to work as hosts for the Community Building from noon to 3, then there is the Ag-Olympics at 3, then our whole family is working in the 4H foodstand from 5-7.
Saturday is more of a fun day, we watch the horse shows mostly. Sunday is more volunteering in the Community Building in the afternoon, and then we have to tear everything down at 5.
I'm getting tired just thinking of all this! But it is fun!
