She's still hanging in there, Darryl came home really late last night to sleep in his own bed, but he's heading back over there today.

Just to keep everyone who cares updated--Darryl's mom passed away early this morning. Darryl is with most of his siblings, and they are planning everything at the funeral home and finishing up paperwork, etc. It looks like the funeral will be on Saturday.

The timing is not good. Darryl and I were going away this weekend with my parents to my grandma's house to load up furniture, and finish cleaning everything out so we can get the house on the real estate market.

And yesterday, our power got shut off. I didn't have a phone to call them, as our home phone is VoIP, so I drove the kids to my parents house and used their phone. We got it all figured out, it was a billing error (UGH) and power was restored this morning at about 10:30am. We stayed at my parents house until about bedtime last night, so we just came home and went to bed.

BUT, I loved my first day at my new job yesterday! In the middle of all that, it was good that something was positive! I really like the people I'm working with, and its such a nice facility! Woot, woot!

Well, it was a long busy last 4 days, but its over now! Woot, woot! The funeral service for Darryl's mom was beautiful, but as was to be expected, dealing with some of Darryl's brothers and sisters was exhausting and just not fun! We cut out of the reception pretty early, and drove 3 hours to my grandmother's house and spend the rest of the weekend helping my parents clean out the house, and load up all the furniture in a moving van, then brought it all to their house and unloaded it! In 90 degree heat no less! BUT--its done!!! Woot, woot!

Now hopefully life can get back to semi-normal!
