Barry Lane I thought In The Fog a fair amount of fun. Davis is extremely important as a journalist and personality of his time. A kind of Anderson Cooper of his day. He has been largely ignored in our time, but in films of the forties, Foreign Correspondent, Somewhere I'll Find You, and later, The Tarnished Angels, his name is invoked by Clark Gable, Joel McCrea and Rock Hudson with such authority, that it seems a given by the film writers, directors, that his name should not only be recognized, but that recognition should carry authority.
