Hi Mia,It sounds interesting to me. How does it work? It is a live interview (phone, I presume) or remote via written Q&A?
thanks,
Bennett R. Coles
Got the questions, Mia. I'll start working on 'em. Feels like homework! :)
Now, with regards to my wife reading that story, what would you like her o look for? Typos? Sections which are confusing? Plot holes? Continuity issues?

Big J: Like I said in the email, the big stuff. It needs editing, I know that, but I want to make sure it's a likable story. Does it make sense? Plot, characters, continuity, pacing... Did you enjoy it? Is the romance believable? Etc., :)Steve: Shoot me an email -- mia.darien (at) att.net -- and let me know which type (or both) you are interested in!
For the record, I did both an author and character interview with Mia, and it was a lot of fun! Especially the character one.:) Thx Mia!
Hi, Mia. If you have any room for another author, I'd love the opportunity to be interviewed. Please let me know. Thanks!
I'm always happy to add to the list. The author interview slots are full till September now, but I have many slots for the character interviews, if you're interested?
Hi Mia!
Just wanted to say thanks again for posting the interview on your site! I appreciate it!
I have a question about character interviews. Would it essentially be a character from my book asking the questions? If so, I'll give it a try! :)

I've also done an interview with Mia, but mine was role-playing being in her universe. It's a good time for sure.
Thanks, guys. It's been awesome to host you!Big J: It depends on the interview. The "Out of World" interview is your character knowing they are in a book, so I get to ask them questions. "In World" means I sort of write a character in your world to ask the questions while your character (of your choice) answers the questions.
Does that help? OOW is quicker and quirkier, while IW is more in depth and tailored.
Hi Mia. I would say the Out of World interview sounds interesting. I'd be willing to give that one a go! Just let me know what you need me to do!

Hi Mia - I'm working on the Out of World interview questions now.
Essentially, you'll be interviewing Pryllan. Ever interview a dragon? :)

*thinks* I don't believe I have. Good guys, bad guys, fire elemental in human form, vampires, aliens... but no dragons! Looking forward to it. :)
Giving this a bump. I'm needing more authors and characters to do interviews on my site! You can check out current and past interviews: http://www.miadarien.com and email me at mia.darien@att.net if you are interested! Thanks!
Hi Mia - I just sent you an email about the author and character interviews. Either one is fine with me, if you wanted to interview me.
Thanks, Mona
Thanks, Mona
Drop me an email! Folks don't have to feel obligated to choose between the two, either. I'm happy to have authors do author and character interviews. :)
I'm giving this post a bump, because after an extended period of life insanity I am crawling back over the cliff I fell off of with goodreads and getting back on top of things... and I have several open slots for character and author interviews on From Mia's Desk! So, if anyone would like to be interviewed--as author, as character, or as both--please feel free to send me a message on GR or email me at darien.mia (at) gmail.com. People who've been interviewed already are welcome to return for the type they didn't do, or with a different character.
Thanks!
You're free to do both, if you like. They are both pre-written questions, so email me (darien.mia (at) gmail.com) and request which one/s you want and I'll send you the documents.
I peeked at your website and those interviews look very fun! Now I'm thinking on what my characters would say. :)
Hi Mia,I would love to be interviewed. My book, Female Adventurers, is nonfiction profiling a dozen Puritan women (plus one mystery woman) who helped colonize Massachusetts and Conecticut.
Sure thing. Works particularly well for my site, since I was born in CT and lived there until very recently. Send me am email and we'll arrange it: Darien.mia @ gmail.com
I'm giving this thread another bump, because I'm starting back up with author and character interviews for November onward. So contact me if you're interested in doing one or both!
Rock on! Anyone interested should send me an email at darien.mia @ gmail.com, and tell me whether you'd like to do an author, a character, or both!

So, if anyone is interested, let me know! Post here or email me at mia.darien (at) att.net
Thanks!
