Maybe not during their mortal lives... but once they die and go to heaven surely they will... :)

totally agree

I'll put the whole farm on L&D living happily ever after loving each other above anything else then going to heaven and reuniting with their friends... maybe then the throne will give them angel status?.. lol prob not but at least she will get to see everyone she knows and loves.

Sabrina I though Rapture had a bad ending. Like seriously what was the point of luce and daniel agreeing, they won't even know if they met. I really would have liked if they stayed angels. And now luce and daniel are just normal. Come on!!! I hate normal human romance stories. The end of rapture i think just ruined the whole series for me,

Laura I personally wanted to see more of Cam. In the begining it seemed like he liked Luce and I thought her other love was going to be Cam or something but Lucifer? What?

Cassie 'The Thinker Go Go Go Go' Mis. Roben Goodfellow'\Isabelle Lightwood Laura wrote: "I personally wanted to see more of Cam. In the begining it seemed like he liked Luce and I thought her other love was going to be Cam or something but Lucifer? What?"

yeah i agree. i mean really?? Lucifer? what is up with that? i was soooooooo hoping that it'd be Cam.

Cecily I was a little sad with and disappointed with the ending. Cause i mean all the things Luce and Daniel had been trough and now they had forget them all? Seriously? All their past lives, all their friends. And the thing that had pissed me more off was the becoming mortal thing AND THAT CAM MAGICALLY DISSAPEARED like seriousl? I asked Lauren about him on twitter and she had said
"The only answers I have are the ones already in the book"
I don't think she's interested anymore in the fallen series.

Ashley I'm glad I'm not the only one that seemed to think that ending was a little bitter sweet. I didn't want for Daniel and Lucinda to be mortal! I mean Lucinda just discovered what she really was and then she is sent to be mortal! I mean giving she finds Daniel but for them to have no memory of what they use to be anger's me. I still don't regret reading it and I enjoyed the story but I really didn't like how it ended.

I didn't see the tweet between u and Lauren Kate but... I know for sure she's working on a book right now and I'll bet when she makes the announcement it's gonna either continue the fallen series or it'll be a cam spin off. I hope it's more about Lucinda and Daniel :) Either way its all very exciting!!!

i really hope it's a Cam spin off. i dont think i can take anymore Luce\Danile. seeing as they have 3 books alread deacted to them. and that they finally got there happy ending and all that

She tweeted it in replied to my tweet wait let me see if I can find the link to show you..... I can't find a link that directs you there it was tweeted 25 July and she tagged my name as @shantybrunken

@ShantyBrunken "I'm dying to know a few things about rapture! When can I ask?!" The only answers I have are the ones already in the book.

id be happy with either it being about lucy and daniel or cam my moneys on cam just they way it was ended, but i just want real answers to all the questions that were left unanswered in rapture.

Exactly!

Gabriella I wasn't impressed with the ending. It was bittersweet. But, I took on more of a bitter feeling after I read it. It made me so mad because after everything that they've been through and their life of many years, the memories are just gone. They forgot all of the friends that they made, the amazing things that they did, and how brave they were. I understand that Luce and Daniel got what they wanted, which was them to be together. But as a reader, it makes me mad! I remember everything, and they remember nothing. It was just frustrating.
I would have liked there to be a longer epilogue that showed what happens in the rest of their lives together. For Lauren Kate to have written them graduating, getting married, having children. But, it felt a little unfinished on that aspect. I mean, obviously all of that happens because, how could it not? They've loved each other forever, literally.
I would have also liked to see more of Cam in the end. His story felt so incomplete. Towards the end of Rapture and in he end, that Cam had things to say to Luce, but never did. Maybe a few things to say to Daniel as well. And his emotions and inside feelings weren't expressed as much as I hoped they would. He just seemed so incomplete in the end. Just wish there were more for Cam.
But, he book was good and pretty creative.

Cassie 'The Thinker Go Go Go Go' Mis. Roben Goodfellow'\Isabelle Lightwood i agree... i think there should of been a longer thing. like 'ten years latter' or somthing like that. and i really wish there was more of Cam to

Xochitl i liked the book untill the ending.... i still cant get over the fact that luce was an angel and chose to be a mortal....

Cassie 'The Thinker Go Go Go Go' Mis. Roben Goodfellow'\Isabelle Lightwood i find that hard to belive to.....although it was that, or not be with Danlie and i guess that was more importent to her than being an angel

Ebony i seriously loved the ending. her being an angel and used to being in love with Lucifer was so shocking and unexpected. but i loved Daniel at the ending. i always thought he was too stiff and WAY TOO "oh Luce i have to protect you" & "oh Luce im in love with you so dearly much". (I'm not much of a romance person). so i wish that his character at the ending could've been us loosen up and able to laugh as he was as an angel.

Don't worry xochitl- when LK wrote theese books the resounding message has always been "true love" in it purest form can and will always conquer anything :) as they have proven for thousands of years... The throne had to punish but as Arriane said forgiveness was his new thing... I undoubtably have 100% assurance that they will again in the very least remember all that they were;) I promise all u have to do is believe... Lol I know that sounds so cheesy an I promise I'm not like crazy romance girl, but I am a little sappy ;) but hey I laugh a lot and I love a lot!! So all and all no worries... If they don't regain their wings, they'll at least regain their memories :)

pannams_t The ending was a bit disappointing. What happened to Cam anyway? It felt like Lauren didn't quite finish the story.

That seems to be the big debate!! I think she may do a cam spin off but that's just wishful thinking on my behalf!! I hope we also get to hear more about Luce and Daniel:)

then someone's got a big probmal on there hands

Amanda My thoughts exactly when I finished reading. Although, I can't say Luce being an angel was really a shock. It was a bittersweet ending, and although I'm happy that they found each other in the end (especially when there were no guarantees), I couldn't help but feel empty and sad. I felt like it was such a reaching point when Luce finally remembered - what they all were trying so hard to get her to achieve - that when I read the ending, it really felt like a letdown. I wanted more for Daniel and Luce. Because their love was so epic and grand that to have them be mortal and with no memory of anything previous was hard to accept. The ending just wasn't good enough!

I hope the author does a spin-off series with Cam, because I'm also wondering where he went. He seemed like such an important character to the story that I thought more of him would be fleshed out. His story just feels so unfinished. So here's to hoping for more of Cam. :)

message 74: by M.J. (new) - rated it 5 stars

M.J. Douglas i have just look throught the book once more and theres a bit that has just clicked "the flower fell from my hand, three petals landing on the boy's shoe. "say something. he loves me. he loves me not. he loves me hot.""
hah he already loves her x

hollyybel OK... the book was perfect. I cried when Molly and Gabbe died, I sympathised about Dee... and I fell in love with Cam all over again......

AND THEN CAME THE ENDING.

What can I say? The whole series was a waste. All the deaths, and pain, and struggles and rollercoaster rides the characters went through... and then they ALL freaking died for no reason. I wanted to shoot myself. There could've been a good solution to this, surely. But not where she dies. It's like, Goddammit woman, end it properly. Maybe a fifth one where all is resolved.

But the whole series is a waste. They went through everything for nothing.

AND THOSE ARE MY THOUGHTS

Maria I liked the ending but i think they should have atleast been made immortal

Tiffany *Sigh* My opinion about the ending still didn't change until now. But what's done is done, I guess...

That being said, anyone have any good book recomms? I recently just started a blog and I'm looking for a nice, fresh book to read and review. :D Though...my TBR pile is already sort of piling up.

ehe, sorry for going off topic.

Cool! I'm adding that to my TBR list! Thanks. :D

Allison The ending honestly killed me. It was so romantic but just the last line in the book about it being the first and last time made me close the book and cry. Books don't normally have that effect on me, but I just wanted them to have eternity together, but instead they have just this one chance. And then of course I read into too much and start wondering if they'll actually live it to the fullest.

Needless to say, I was happy they got their chance, but it was so upsetting that it was only that one chance they get, and at the same time, have to live their lives never knowing the people who helped save theirs.

Rachel I hate when at the end of this series they loose their memories! It's bittersweet, because you're happy that they are together, but they don't remember everything they went through to get to that point! I totally cried at the end!

I know me too!!!! Ugh but my only hope is once they go to heaven they will be reunited with those who loved them and they will regain their memories :)

Jennifer Dupriest All this torture for Daniel and Luce just because they were in love and Lucifer didn't like that and so did "The Throne" all that just to teach them a lesson and to ask Luce what side she picks in the end...
I was like, "What?"
Yeah I had mixed feelings about the end. Is it just me, or did anyone else feel sorry for Lucifer. It's not really his fault she betrayed him. If she just told him ahead of time, instead of dodging the subject...
Idk, I guess the ending was alright. I just felt bad for her parents and the people she was leaving behind by becoming reborn.I guess she didn't really think about them because it was all about Daniel's Love.

Me too. I wanted to throw the book across the room and scream like a banshee, but since I was riding in the car on the way to a restaurant while I was reading the ending, neither would be a realistic move. I barely ate anything once we were there; I was so moved by the ending the thought of eating made me feel kind of sick. I wish the ending was different. I cried when I realized Luce and Daniel were giving up all their memories, the fights, and their friends. I especially cried harder when I realized that Luce and Daniel are mortal and will die!! Somehow, that does not feel right at all!!

I felt exactly the same way. I was left with many more questions than answers, I thought the ending was so unfair, and I stayed up hours into the next few nights after reading the book stressed about what I'd read. IT DROVE ME CRAZY!!!

Sophie I liked the book but the ending was not what i was hoping for. I feel like they went through everything for nothing! Lost Gabbe and Molly for nothing! I guess i was just hoping that Luce and Daniel would spend the rest of eternity as angels together... I also felt a bit cheated because we don't know how Luce's death has affected the people close to her such as her parents and Callie. Well what has happened has happened but at least do a mini novel like Fallen In Love about Luce and Daniels new life as mortals, like each chapter about different stages their life together?

Neha I sort of wish the ending turned out different but I actually like the ending a lot and the fact that they turned human was good knowing that now they won't have anything seperating them.

Iris I wish Daniel and Luce would've kept their wings and memories and i wish Lucifer would have loved her enough to let Luce go and live with Daniel forever on earth without some kind of down side or curse. I wish they would have stayed angels and just lived on earth together. But i'm glad they found each other.

you know what I think the same too because if Lucifer truly ever loved Luce then he would've let her stay with Daniel without having to go through any change and turn mortal again. Since true love mean that you are wiling to accept the fact that if your partner is happy then you are as well.

Georgia I wasn't sure about the ending, It was so heartwarming but i feel like it was rushed. I feel like Luce wouldn't have jumped into that decision so quickly, she loved Daniel, but what about her family, they havnt heard from her in months then all of a sudden what? they never hear from her again.

message 98: by Andrea (new)

Andrea i was really sad when i was reading the ending i felt like it was kind of nice cuz they end up together but what happen to their memories that was what really make me feel really mad also what happen to some character like cam , her parents , and her best friend ? ,:( lauren .. what happen to my cam shelby ask arriane and she doesnt say anything about him , is he suffering now for luce because she doesnt have the chance to remember him anymore ? i always though that they did have something but lauren never clear their relationship the only thing that make me think that was the dream that luce have kissing him and if that dream was just a memory from her pass life that means they did have something ! right ? and he tells her that once they were very close and dee also tells her that she once told her about the conflicted feeling she felt for cam and we all read the goodbye from him " When you are ruined, the world opens up" that meant he was sad ..... ugh poor cam ....sorry its just that i was theme cam ..... omg i was really mad and sad at the same time it took me a while to process everything lol i really did love the books ❤ but the ending totally suprise me , it was worth it and not at the same time .....

message 99: by Anna (new) - rated it 3 stars

Anna I cried and I know I like something, like a movie or a book, when I cry. But this one... I felt like it was all for nothing, like nothing really exciting happenned in the previous books, and in the last ones so many characters die and Luce and Daniel choose to become mortal. I think the end was too much, like the fact that Luce was an angel and had a romantic relationship with Lucifer...No, I think that Lauren Kate could have made it much more simplier and the series could have had a better end.
