I have just received notification from my bookclub that this book Search and Destroy by Tom Clancy has had publication cancelled. We regret to inform you that this item is no longer going to be published. We apologise for any inconvenience.

I'm not sure what has to be done in this case.

There's a lot of speculation and discussion all over the web, but the publisher and author websites have no real info.

I added a note and removed the pub date that did not happen.

Thanks Rivka...I tried to put the link with the information, but I only received it in the mail, and when I looked on their site, the book was no longer there.
