Ashamed to admit it, but I always shied away from Western Romance or any Romance for that matter. Callie's Heart was recommended so I thought, why not give it a try and I was pleasantly surprised - guess what - I love Western Romance. Great story, characters.

I started as an avid mystery reader- after I had my son Steven I tried a romance and I was hooked. I'd read one a day- thank goodness for the local library summer sale- I'd stock up for the winter. Western is my favorite- in fact I love historical westerns the most but I write contemporary. I'm glad you liked Callie's Heart

And you converted someone who had no interest in this genre' I was missing so much.
I never thought I'd like Westerns either until I grabbed one of Diana Palmer's books and then I was hooked. :)If you love Western romances, Decadent Publishing has a line that's recently started called Western Escape. Set in fictional Freewill, Wyoming, the line features both historical and contemporary Western stories.
Let me see if I can find some of their books
Yipee! I like what I'm hearing here. Maybe we can get off the vampire/werewolf/zombie/...and get into something fun. I had met Daniel Chamberlain on twitter and bought his book for my oldest brother to read as he recovered from heart surgery. He always liked westerns. Then I downloaded it onto my kindle just out of curiosity. It was a beautiful love story and I have been recommending it ever since. http://www.amazon.com/The-Long-Shoote...
