K so since I made this topic.. I think I should partake in it as well :)btw.. I haven't read a king's ransom.. NO SPOILERS So let's see... 1. Ian : I love Ian's character because he's so smooth, and hopelessly desperate at the same time. There are moments where he shows us his "crush" on Amy, for example when he talked Evan into thinking that Amy was giving him a message, that she didn't like him any more. This act was much like a Lucian.. but of course to Ian's advantage.
2.Evan: I hate Evan. nuff said. I think everyone does. HE's suspicious and FAR too stalkerish for my liking. I would prefer is Amy just dumped him. Personally I would never like someone that LAME.
3. Jake: I have absolutely no understanding as to why some people think they like each other... I mean, Amy said he was good looking.. but based on his behaviour he seems like a Jerk. So no, I do not like him, and he is too suspicious as well.
OVERALL: Ian should be with Amy. He likes her. She likes Him. They are good for each other. and that's it. But I must say, I would like it much better if Ian just ditched the stuttering idiot and went for me instead... :)
After I read the Trust No One Book...I really want Amy to be with Jake; <3
Ian just seems too distant from Amy now, plus the fact that they are more like family now.
I used to not root for Evan but after reading his interactions with Amy in the book, my heart broke for him. Amy is becoming distant to him too.
And then there is Jake... OMG. He is just like perfect for her. I don't know, I just want him to be with her. I guess it is because I am a sucker for those hard-to-get romances. ;)
Anyways, I want to hear what you guys have to say :) I finally have people that I can discuss 39 clues with. WOOT! :D
i have never really liked evan from the start. I was always a diehard amian fan, yet now..im kind of considering Jake

Evan or Jake. Evan seems really nice, concerned about Amy, and is just like Amy. He's geeky, and cuteJake is nice but Amy and him aren't alike buy is also concerned about Amy. WHO WILL SHE PICK? I NEEDS TO KNOW!!

Evan Evan Evan Amy loves him and he's head over heels for herJake is just really creepy too me and I argee with Amy when she is like 'Hey my brothers a genius you jerk!' in her mind!
Ian yes I love Ian too but he's her family... and before I read Medusas plot I thought they were gonna hook up .3. but hes amazing and I wouldn't be surprised if Ian did something Lucian-ish to Evan later on to make him dump her and move in for the love but if Ian is real and lisening IAN COME FOR MEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!1
I think Amy should totally be with Jake. I don't like Evan and I used to totally love Ian and Amy but in this series they seem to be more like actual cousins.
Alright, before DoD, I shipped Jamy to the max...... I don't know why. But now, I'm an Amian fan. Those two are just so cute together!!! And technically speaking, they're so distantly related that they're not considered relatives. (He's not actually their cousin)
I'm a mix up between Ian and Jake. They would both be perfect for her and after reading the Unstoppable series I really hope Amy ends up with Ian in the end. I haven't read Doublecross yet so I'm still hoping against hope.
