The Movie. Thoughts?

I felt like it wasn't actually a movie based on The Lightning Thief. It was more like a movie based on a book report some fifth grader wrote on The Lightning Thief.
What did you think of it?

Well, the movie by itself was alright, but compared to the book, was horrible. Like, nothing matched. Nothing.

Checked it out from the library, watched about twenty minutes, and then I got so royally indignant that I just couldn't finish the movie. Definitely NOT based on the book that I read.

I can understand when a movie deviates from the book it was based on, as long as it doesn't lose the spirit (the Harry Potter films and Lord of the Rings movies, for example, stayed very close to the original intent of the books). The Lightning Thief movie had a whole different vibe from the book, and I just couldn't stand that.

it was terrible, i nearly died when watching, it they ruined the plot line so badly

Is it even possible to make a second movie? The whole series centers around him nearing his sixteenth birthday, and Logan Lerman is 20.

I hated the movie. I was soooo bad. There was a lot wrong with it. I don't see how exactly they plan to make a second one! The guy who is playing Percy is waaaay too old!! And they never even mentioned the tree! How is that going to work, exactly? The movie was very disappointing.

Their age doesn't matter because if you haven't noticed, they'll just completely change the story so it fits with them

I can't stand this movie. While I watching it I was literally pulling my hair out. They didnt even include Kronos! How on earth they plan to do the 2nd movie is beyond me!The atmosphere of it was completely different from the book. Its ok as a movie, but as a percy jackson film, i thought it was bad
