Sandra (sleo) | 1913 comments I finally read Carol Berg's Song of the Beast and it was a wonderful story. I nearly always love her books.

I'm about halfway--really liking it. Beautiful, mesmerizing writing.

J.M. (Joe) (jmmartin) | 8 comments I just finished a Kickstarter book I had backed called Tales of the Emerald Serpent, a shared world anthology by some very fine fantasy authors including Julie Czerneda, Martha Wells, Todd Lockwood, and more. It was a really fun and interesting read in the spirit of the old Asprin "Thieves' World" anthologies.

You really should read them! I'm totally addicted to them and am very impatiently waiting on The Winds of Winter.

I'm reading A Dance With Dragons on kindle and listening to The Way of Kings on audio. This is my first Sanderson book and I am now officially an enthusiastic fan. Mistborn books are next :)

I actually didn't like The Man in the High Castle. The story didn't interest me. Maybe it was above my head? I would have liked more action but I know that's not what the book was going for. I like Juliana's storyline the best. I like his short stories better.
