Elouise I don't understand why poeple are having a go at the cover for 'Sever'.
Personally, I much prefer this to the cover for 'Fever'.

Allison The only thing people don't like about the cover is the bright green color that contrasts way too much with the other covers. They all want a more subdued color, but honestly other than that its way better than 'Fever'.

Melissa I still can't believe that's the official cover for Sever. I feel like we're being tricked because most book covers tend to follow a pattern. The green background doesn't follow the theme, but the girl and the stuff around her fits it.

If the green was changed, I would feel happier about it.

Jamie I think since it's the end of the trilogy, it's the book that sums it all up. The light color of the background indicates that the end will be more joyful then the other two books. Notice, the model also looks healthier, happier, and more vibrant than the others, foreshadowing a happy ending.

That being said, I don't believe all three covers are the same model. Who originally said that? Because I've heard it before and I don't believe it's true. Anyone know for sure?

Sarah Yeah I don't understand why people are so passionately hating the cover. I like it way better than the slouchy girl on the Fever's cover. And I don't see anything wrong with the green color. Oh well. Hope this book is better than Fever.

Exactly, I feel like there's a bunch of empty space there, and the green is ugly.

Jill I honestly love the covers for each book in this series. These covers are amazing! And as for the green, I personally like it. It sets the book apart. Thumbs up from me...

Fia-Sophia it's a book cover. hasn't anyone heard "don't judge a book by it's cover"? i bet the book will be just as good as the other ones, so stop complaining. i personally think it's a nice cover.

Molotov To be honest, I think it's just the shade of green. The model looks gorgeous on it (I really really want that dress, it's so pretty!) and the objects on the floor combined with the model give it a good composition, but that green is just....wrong. It looks way too much like a green screen. It looks almost like they forgot to add the background to the picture before sending it off to print. It just looks wrong, and the lights are too sharp and bright. It makes the atmosphere of the picture feel almost clinical and cold.

Also, if your eyes are bad, like mine, the gold on green is HUGE pain in the but to read.

The covers are all pretty by themselves, but i don't think they'll look nice next to each other on my bookshelf. Kind of like The Hunger Games... Black, red, baby blue.

Caraline ohhh it makes sense now...

Kristina I love the covers for this series. The random objects make no sense unless you read the books.

But I don't like the green, I wish they chose a different color for the background.

Caraline ya I agree. I was thinking a dark blue or purple...or even black. but not fluorescent green!!!

KC Is anyone else upset that the "S" in Sever is not vertical on the jacket cover like the other two books? It is vertical on the book spine but not the jacket.

Kristel isn't green the symbol for "hope" and "life"? you know, green earth, plants..etc. and well, I think it's also because it's something to do with Hawaii? so I think it fits the story well, though the pain in the eye of the green shade may suggest how bad this is gonna cost the characters.

Cara It's just ugly. The background is boring, the colors don't work together, and instead of blending the objects together to make it look more natural, they just sat the model in front of a greenscreen and put a bunch of stuff relevant to the story around her. (Not that I have an opinion)
