Not familiar to me either. So I'll guess B
(since that's the only one there I haven't been able to read because of the content. I've got to try to get past that since others here say it's really a good book.)

It is 'Open Season', this was in the sub-story of Carmela, the girl who was raped and killed in the beginning of the story.
