Andrew Finazzo (johnyqd) | 343 comments I thought I'd collect some of the links I've used here, along with a very brief (spoiler free) character guide.

Wikipedia: Belfast Nicknamed "Linenopolis". The Titanic was built here.

Wikipeda: The Troubles Nothing like naming your quasi civil war with a euphemism.

Wikipedia: Maze Prison Internment prison during the troubles. Multiple strikes were organized as prisoners disputed their classification as criminals versus political prisoners. 95% of the detainees were Catholic.

Wikipedia: Ulster Ulster is an Irish province which includes Northern Ireland (6 counties) and 3 other counties.

Wikipedia: Omagh bombing Large bombing done by the RIRA ("Real" IRA) post the Good Friday agreement. Led towards the Northern Ireland peace process and complaints about incompetence of the Ulster police force who failed to get any convictions.

Wikipedia: Robert Peel Peeler = slang for police officer. Synonymous with the English "bobbies".

Wikipedia: PSNI (Police Service of Northern Ireland) "The abbreviation NIPS was thought inappropriate for a variety of reasons." Hahahahaha.
