Cassie (CassieWinters) I live in a small midwestern town in the US. I am 31 years of age and I am a full-time student just for a little demographic information. Within the last year I had noticed a trend with my reading. I was enjoying mysteries more and more over the other books that I was reading. I started loving authors like Charlaine Harris and James Patterson, which are ones that I had never read before. I had not read in probably 20 years before the beginning of this year because of where life has taken me, but now I reading every single day. I have other groups that I am in that meet my desire for reading in other ways, but I didn't have a group to discuss the mysteries that I was quickly devouring and loving more than anything. I feel like this might be a good place to get that part of my reading life. I look forward to discussing these types of books with you guys. (I bought Whiskey Sour literally two weeks ago and was planning on reading it starting in July now I have even more reason to do so)

Hi Eric. Thanks for joining the group. And I'm so glad you are getting back into reading again. (If I don't read every day I get cranky.) You'll find lots of recommendations and new books here, so get ready!

Creature | 93 comments Hello:
Welcome to the group. I had something similar happen to me. I usually read Horror and Sci-Fi books but for some reason I've taken a shine to mysteries over the last couple years as well.
Have a Great Day!!!
