You will also notice the picture is not the correct one and matches the second link's image.
That is unless you list the audible cd and the mp3 sold by audible as different editions.

259 done. (It was accumulating reviews because until ~24 hours ago, the author's name was spelled incorrectly. People who made the typo kept ending up there and adding it instead of an actual edition of the book.)As for 258, I think I'd better leave that to someone more familiar with Audible and their audiobooks. ;)

Okay. It just doesn't look the right size... like the book image cropped to a CD size. No point in changing it though, since there is no proof that it wasn't originally published like that.Thanks rivka

RE msg 276: Someone made a typo on one of the ISBNs. It should have been 9780786516506, instead of 9780786591506. I have fixed it.

Finished 278, and some of the legwork on 276, but my internet connection is beyond slow right now, so I'm going to have to leave the rest.
277 is an alternate cover edition. I have delted the invalid ISBN.Someone got 278

Re #280: The first link appears to be a legitimate edition. I found several bookseller listings (some even with ISBN). However, I couldn't find any non-bookseller info that I could add. The other two links have been zapped.

Oh that is weird. It wasn't working for me. My bad. Maybe I had a space it in or something when I checked it. Probably shouldn't stay up until 5am trying to check all the books for that one edition.I will see if I can find more info from a non bookseller on the cruel and casual book.

Hi all,I've created 27 new books (well not really 27, more like 20) of the manga serie Shamo. But now there are a few editions left which are double (actually they are empty, just a title) so I was wondering if those could be deleted.

It's the first time I added a serie, so if I did something wrong or you got tips for me, they're welcome ;)
Instead of adding a new book, try and update the already exiting books so there are less deletes, but only if they are the same entry.If there is a valid ISBN, the supers will not delete it. Try and find the information to fill them in, from a non-bookseller website, or leave them blank.
Also, if you know what these are, try and combine them with other editions.

I did reuse some of the existing books already. I just now discovered how to combine editions (been looking into it, but as usual at the wrong place)

Yea np. Manga is usually messy and needs lots of cleanup. I spent a whole day cleaning up 1 author.A few tips for manga:
* Put the English translation of the author as the primary author, followed by the original language name
* If there is an illustrator for the series, as sometimes they are not the same, put that in there too (since they are an important part of the manga)
* The original publication title should be the Japanese name (not the English translation of the name).
Those are just a few tips. Oh 1 more, a lot of times people use the Japanese covers for the English editions, because they are sometimes very similar, don't do this or try and fix it if you see this.
Some other tips: Please be careful setting the language for an edition. For example, Shamo, Vol.14 is currently marked as English. However, looking at the worldcat reord for ISBN 4575826278 it shows the language as Japanese. The language setting should match the ISBN as it was published.
Also, title should match the language of the book. Therefore, Shamo, Vol.14 should actually be titled 軍鶏 14 [Shamo 14].
ETA: Looked through the links in msg 295. Several had already been deleted. The others all appeared to be valid ISBNs.
