James got through security and got his ticket and everything. He was sitting down on a chair next to his suitcase, looking around. He ran a hand through his hair. He never had been on a plane, either, so this was something new for him.

Dalton glanced a bit at Alvina. He raised an eyebrow and set his gaze back straight. He took out his phone when he felt it vibrate. He saw that it was just Halo, so he put it back away. James leaned back in the seat and sighed, folding his muscular arms over his broad chest.

James looked at her like she was crazy. "Uh....its a phone." He couldn't help but give a little snicker at her. He took it out again and showed her. "See? A cell phone." He put it back away.

He nodded and rubbed his chin a bit. Dalton yawned. He looked at the girl quickly again and then back at the ground. There wasn't much to say or do.

"What's your name, by the way?" Dalton said, looking back at her. At least she's pretty, he thought humorously. He blinked his blue green ice eyes.

Diandra passed through security, no major problems. She had a little issues because she was a Marine and she had snapped at the security people to look at Eric when they were talking to him. Other wise he would have no idea what they were saying. Of course she had to get stuck with one of those anti-war people working the security... After they got out of security, she scanned the terminal for Mirage. She saw her and signed for Eric to come with her.

"Dalton," he said, choosing not to tell her his first name since almost everyone called him by his last. Alvina...hmm...

"Mirage!" Diandra turned and went to meet her. "Yeah, it's good to see you too!" she said brightly. "This is my brother, Eric," she signed and talked at the same time.

West walked silently through the termnial. She had a thickly packed back-pack and dragged along. She wore a thick sweater and thicker made jeans. Her black hair was in a braid down her back as she walked silently. Her bright green eyes looked around and sighed.

"Uh...well...that's what everyone calls me. M'real name is James. Dalton's my last name," he confessed. So much for keeping it hidden, he thought. He hated the name 'James.' It sounded so...proper. And he was just the opposite of proper. Dalton sounded cooler than that.

He shrugged and crossed his arms behind his head. "For a vacation. M'friend said it'll be nice here. So I tried it. Plus, everyday stress is gettin' to me." James stared up at the ceiling. "Why are you?"

"About 2 weeks I think. Or a week and a half. And you live there?" He cocked his head and looked at her. Alaska wasn't a place that Dalton would ever want to live in. But everyone had a home, he supposed.

West accidently bumped into the male and kept walking, not saying a sorry or anything.

Dalton nodded. He didn't live in Florida, but he was there for a new job offer (of course as a Chippendale). He didn't particularly like it, but he didn't want to return home just yet.

"Nope. I live in California. I came here for a job offer, didn't like it. But I didn't wanna go home just yet, so I'm goin' to Alaska." She must be thinking, what dumb*ss like him would get a job offer in Florida? But he never explain what kind of job.

"Never said that. But it's nice to get away from home. Traveled 4 states, and I dunno how many to go." He winked at her and smirked. Dalton loved to tease, that's for sure.

Terminal A West, Gate 14E... Jay squinted at the glowing sign above the little seating area. 12, 13, there it was. He slung his backpack off his shoulder and dumped it unceremoniously in a seat, glad to be rid of the weight.
"Excuse me," he cautiously interrupted a couple of other passengers chatting near the seat he stood next to. "Sorry, do either of you know when they'll start boarding?"

"Why d'ya care? Besides, I don't really know where 'home' is." He loves messing with her. Most people could take his jokes, but he knew that Alvina wouldn't deal with him. And he was kinda happy about that fact.

West sat quietly and read a book with a dark and morbid back ground. Wicked . Her long hair was tied back as her eyes scanned the book softly.

Dalton looked up to the man who interrupted them. "Uh...no, sorry." He looked back at Alvina, uncrossing his arms from behind his head and resting them in his lap. Stop lookin' at her, you look like a creep!

"Whoah," James murmured, holding up his hands in innocence. "Someone's in a bad mood today." He shifted a bit and stared at the opposite wall. He couldn't help but smirk inwardly, knowing he just ticked off someone on first impression. Score.

Dalton raised an eyebrow. Now he didn't feel so happy. He felt bad. "Sorry...I made you mad." He frowned a bit and sighed. Oh well...you heard her, she's always in a bad mood. No point in trying to get her in a good one.

He didn't feel so uncomfortable. Nothing really made him awkward. He closed his eyes, still waiting for the plane to call for boarding. He didn't say anything else to her, in fear of making her even more p*ssed off.

He sighed and watched her go. Dalton thought that was a good idea, and he was hungry, so he got up to go get something to eat. Maybe bring home a little trinket for Halo, something stupid like that.

Jay raised an eyebrow, watching the girl stalk off with all the offended dignity of a wet cat.
"Geez. Someone's touchy." he muttered with a glance at the guy who'd been talking to her.

West still sat, reading the morbid book. Her bright eyes read each of the pages over and over, trying to take in the ideas presented to her. She sighed as she began to think about the words on the page. Is someone born wicked, or is it wickedness thrusted upon them? She thought, knowing if someone distanced themselves from someone, then they had been pushed away before.

Dalton went off and got some food. He was getting tired, so he wanted the plane to hurry up so he can go to sleep. He finished up and left to walk around some more.

Right.. Jay watched the two conversers wander off into the airport, shaking his head slightly. He hesitated a bit this time before turning to another person sitting in the terminal. She was engrossed in a book.
"Er... 'Scuse me," he ventured, very cautious this time. "Do you know... Have they announced when the plane will be boarding yet?"

West looked up from the book. Her bright green eyes wild from her tanned skin.
"Hm? No. They haven't. Sorry." She muttered in a way that showed she wasn't one for conversation. She read deeper into Wicked.
She looked at him. "Tell me. Is someone born wicked, or is it wickedness that is unwantingly thrusted upon them?"

"Eric," Mirage smiled at Diandra's brother. "It's nice meet you, I'm Mirage." She reached out her hand in greeting.

Eric smiled back at her. "It's nice to meet you, too, Mirage," he signed with a smile. Diandra translated for Mirage. "He has been so excited for this," she explained as she glanced at her brother. "Hey! Did you have any troubles with security?" she asked. Was it just her security guy, or was it Tw whole airlines?

Tasia walked inside the terminal, balancing a baby carrier and their bags in one hand as she tried to get their tickets. She finally got them and made it through security. She sighed, she really didn't know what to expect since she never flew before. She tried to ignore the few dirty looks the young mom got, she was used to them, but they still hurt. P

Chet walked alone through the terminal, looking around at everything with interest.
'Wish David had come...' He thought, not for the first time.
A few weeks ago Chet had arranged the trip and tried to persuade his flatmate to go with him. Said flatmate, unfortunately refused and continued to refuse the rest of the time leading up to the trip during which Chet pestered him to no end.
'I'll have to congradulate him on his stubborness and determination though...No one has ever been able to resist caving in after over two weeks of me harrassing and purposefully annoying them to such an extent before...'

Poppy rolled her eyes as the boy at the baggage check asked if he could check her hands for traces of bombs. "What on earth? Does it look like I would carry bombs around? No!" she snapped. "All I have is my dog and some winter clothes! Give a girl a break!" she said as Sparky barked like a maniac.

Jay raised an eyebrow slightly at the girl's odd question.
"Er... I'll put you in touch with my sister." he nodded towards her book. "She dragged me along to see that play too. She's obsessed." He glanced back at his back sitting in a chair a few feet away and caught a glimpse of a young woman, holding a baby carrier with one hand and pulling her bags along with the other. He winced inwardly as the top bag teetered, threatening to topple off onto the floor. Guess she's got to have a lot of carry-on luggage with the little one along, he thought, watching her approach and wondering whether she would take it amiss if he offered to help.

Snubs already didn’t like this, she exhaled through her nose as she readjusted her bangs over her eyes and straightened her shirt. Apparently, the word "license" doesn't EXIST in Florida. See, because of a few things in the contents of her bag, they decided to strip search her. Then they took all her stuff like a greedy child, and THEN discovered her license. So they'd apologized to her, blah blah blah!

Snubs finally reached the terminal she sat down and let her backpack fall as her feet. She looked around and observed all the people that would be boarding. Except for a few kids, she was the only one around her age.

"Figures." she muttered and slouched in her seat.

"Go help her." West said bluntly and went back into her book.
"Be a gentelman. You might just get a girlfriend." She muttered softly and then absorbed herself back into the wonderful book.

A barking echoed through the terminal and Katie woke up and started crying. "Oh, baby," Tasia whispered as she tried to bounce the carrier to calm the baby. Of course, that sent her off balance. Her diaper bag that was balanced so precariously tumbled down. "Crap," she mumbled and ended up having to stop in the middle of the walkway with a screaming child.

Snubs heard someone talking about helping someone else so she lifted her head and peered through her bangs to see who they were talking about.

Diandra nodded, "it's like we're going to smuggle guns on," she smirked. "Some would think they would at least have a little respect, but I know better," she said, being good natured as usual. "I ended up getting stuck with one of those anti war people who havens some serious trouble... Then I snapped at them because they refused to look at Eric so he had no idea what was going on...."

Poppy sniffed and sat down, trying to shut Sparky up.

Jay's eyes followed the young woman as she came down the walkway, and sure enough her balancing act came to an end when she stopped to comfort the crying child. He hesitated only a moment before stepping away from the chairs and retrieving the bag she'd dropped.
"Looks like you've got a lot on your hands." he commented. "Need help?"

"Look at what you did." Poppy pointed to the lady and her baby. Sparky cowered down. "Be quiet and stay Sparky." Poppy moved over to the woman. "Sorry about my dog, he is a bit protective." She bent down to big up the contents of the diaper bag.

Tasia bent down and picked up Katie. She looked, really quite surprised to see two people coming to help. She bit her lip and hung her head, "maybe a little," she said sheepishly to the man. She helped the other girl pick up the diapers and all the rest of the contents. When they finished, she pushed a loose lock of hair out of her face and smiled at the two. Katie finally calmed down and wasn't crying. "Thank y'all so much," she said to the two. She looked at the girl and shrugged, "it's alright. It happens," she smiled.

"I don't see why they can't give innocent looking 16 year olds a break. Like I would pack a bomb." She rolled her eyes. Sparky boundened over to the baby sniffing at him. "Sparky!" Poppy scolded, picking him up. "Oh and you are welcome."

((Yeah. And it didn't help that I could not hear the guy. He made me walk through the metal detector like three times, then stand on the side, then I had to get my hands cleaned. WTH?))

Feeling tired from walking around carrying his bags all day, Chet stopped walking suddenly in the middle of the terminal.
He opened his hands, letting his bags drop to the floor and fell down dramatically, and very convincingly onto the terminal floor, accidentally making it look like he had fainted.
Chet just lay there on the floor in the middle of the terminal, eyes closed, not moving an inch.

"They checked you for a bomb?" Tasia arched an eyebrow. "Um, yeah. That's a little weird. I was behind a Marine earlier and they were giving her a lot of trouble..." she shook her head. Katie freaked out for a second, then giggled when the dog sniffed her. Tasia heard what sounded like someone falling and looked around. Her eye widened when she saw a guy laying on the ground. Without really thinking about it, she started walking towards him.

((My mom got patted down in the airport once too, and she's a tiny 5'2" blonde. xD))

Jay shrugged.
"Problem." He peered down at the little one year old and smiled. "She's adorable." He looked up at the woman. "Where's your gate? I can carry your things there." he offered.

Chet lay perfectly still, it really did look like he was unconscious.
Anyone could have come over and just taken his luggage, except there was something about the scene that told people not to even try it.

Jay looked up, eyes widening when a guy walking behind the woman collapsed on the floor. "Woah.. hold on." He scrambled to his feet and followed her to crouch beside him, reaching out to take the guy's pulse. "Hey, you alright? Can you hear me?" he asked, leaning close to look at the guy's face, puzzled.

Poppy nodded, completely disgusted. Sparky licked thelittle girl's cheek. "Be nice to hee." Poppy commanded Sparky. Poppy turned to face the boy on the ground. To her, being a medic and all, it didn't seem right.
