Cait (tigercait) | 4988 comments Shouldn't these books be in a series? I can make the lists static if you like, but I'm not sure why you're asking for it.

I share Cait's confusion.

Deon (deonva) | 3719 comments They are not by the same author.
I don't think I understand the series vs. not a series.

Deon wrote: "They are not by the same author."

But they share a common "universe", all editions were originally publishes as a series, and so on?

The best way I've found to define a series is that all editions of a book were published in that series - it doesn't matter if the authors are the same.

Non-Series are things like The Penguin Classics Library where books are re-printed with a brand but aren't related outside of that - Frankenstein and Dracula, for example, are not in a series together, even though they might share an imprint from a particular publisher.
