Has anyone read either of these series?

I have had both of these on my TBR for a while Marla but haven't gotten to them. I should have put them in my jar. Maybe I will once my jar starts dwindling down.

Melissa | 7 comments Whats this jar thing everyone is talking about ?

Kelby *TwistedCactusReads* (twistedcactusreads) I think it's like a TBR Jar. You put the titles of books you want to read this year in it and randomly draw a book to read from it throughout the year.

message 220: by ♥ Rebecca ♥ (new)

♥ Rebecca ♥ | 1653 comments I used to do that with my favourite show. Before I got into reading I was obsessed with TV, and I had a jar with the name of all the episodes of my favourite show. Whenever I felt like watching it I would pull out an episode. I was such a nerd. I still have the jar on my bookshelf with my books. I was wondering how that would work with books because I have way too many books on my TBR to fit in a jar, now it makes sense that I know it's only books you want to read that year. But I don't have a yearly TBR.

I don't either. Normally I just pick what I want to read based on my mood.

Yeah, thats why I dont join clubs or challenges either. When I cant read what I want, it takes some of the joy out of it.

Yes!! I don't want to feel pressured to read something just because it's part of a challenge. I found that I was DNFing a few books doing that because I just wasn't in the mindset to read them and I wasn't enjoying reading. It felt more like work.
