Does anyone think Zooey Deshanel should play Annie?

I could kind of see her as Annie. She seems a pretty talented actress, so I wouldn't mind it. What do you think? Let's hear some pros and cons people!!

I think she could work, haven't really put much thought into who I want to play Annie, but I looked Zooey up and I think she could work. Haha, Josh already knows her cuz she played his teacher in Bridge to Terebithia.

Yes. i'd have to agree.. but, i always imagined Annie with either blonde you light brown hair.. correct me if my imagination took over the look of Annie and ignored the books description all together.

I actually don't remember how she was described! I was hoping someone would mention it...I pictured her with dark hair, but I don't know if that was just me!
