SOLVED. graphic novels/comics with Dungeons and Dragons-like epic quest [s]

My friend had several collections of a comic about people in a Dungeons and Dragons setting. They were always in the D&D world (not like "the Guild" where the characters are sometimes online, sometimes in real-world). The art was really simple - round heads, tube bodies, stick arms and legs, and none/little shading. I can't figure out what the series was called though! Thanks for the help!
