Frances (mothindarkness) | 5 comments Currently trying to get through Lost by Gregory Maguire. I loved his Confessions of an Ugly Stepsister, and Wicked was good, but I've tried Lost three times now and just cannot get into it.
Hoping to stick it out and then next on my list will be Christopher Moore's new one, Sacre Bleu. I already know that one is going to rule.

M.D. Kenning (MDKENNING) | 22 comments Currently taking a small departure form indy books. With the last WoT book FIANLLY coming out early next year I have decided to do my original plan, and do a full re read of the series before i read the final book. So I am about 80% done Eye of the World. I will take some small breaks to read indy books, like Christopher Kellen's Sorcer's crime in between book 3 and 4 of WoT.

Terri-Lea Chowles (time2stand) | 2 comments I'm halfway through James Herbert's new book "Ash", and I'm enjoying it a lot. He's my favorite author for I've read all his books over the past decade, and was therefore very excited for this new book.

JC (ainathiel) I just finished When Demons walk by Patricia Briggs When Demons Walk (Sianim, #3) by Patricia Briggs ;
It was part of the Sianim Series or Aralorn Series if you listen to audio. I prefer Sianim b/c Aralorn is a character in two of the books. The series is very good despite what the author thought, Four books loosely connected by the world created by PB.

Carl Alves (carlalves) | 8 comments I'm about to start The Narrows by Ronald Malfi. Just finished Winter's Heart by Robert Jordan and I was a bit disappointed. Too long winded and little going as far as the plot.

I always read 6 at once. But then, I'm easily bored.

message 61: by JC (new)

JC (ainathiel) I am re-reading Dhampir by JC and Barb Hendee. I am going through the Harry Dresden Series by Jim Butcher. The new book I am reading is Throne of the Crescent Moon by Saladin Ahmed. I got it b/c of the good reviews by authors I admire and envy.

I'm currently reading In Siege of Daylight by Greg S. Close. I haven't had much time for reading over the past few days, but I really can't wait to get back to it. I'm about 60% of the way through it and it is an excellent start to what I hope will be a long epic fantasy series!

Debbie (dashforcover) Currently I am actively reading:
The Gathering Storm by Robert Jordan (audio book version) (book 12 of his Wheel of Time series)
Dragon's Teeth by Upton Sinclair
The Portrait of a Lady by Henry James
Roll of Thunder, Hear My Cry by Mildred Taylor
The Cuckoo's Calling by Robert Galbraith
The Book of the Thousand Nights and a Night - Volume 12 by Sir Richard F. Burton (online version)

Intermittenly I'm reading;
The History of the Decline and Fall of the Roman Empire Volume II by Edward Gibbon (e-book version)

Which are entirely too many books for one person to be reading at one time. Right now one goal is to reduce this number to a manageable 4 books. Maybe 5 if one of the five is an easy read.

Linda K Horns by Joe Hill.
