If anybody is interested in reviewing my book that would be great!
I can e-mail a copy in any format just let me know which format you would like.
Its a story of an adventure solo kayak trip I did.
This is not a story about cutting off body parts to survive, or going to brink of existence in an unforeseen twist of fate. This is an adventure born from watching old movies and programs of people living and travelling in the Alaskan/Canadian wilderness. It is a story of a solo quest to get to Alaska by kayak with very little experience, surviving in the wilderness along the way; it’s a story of learning to believe in yourself when some others think you’re crazy, of putting one foot in front of the other each day, and of trusting your wits to get you out of a situation if it all goes wrong. Some describe it as crazy, some say it’s a spirit quest. All I know is that I needed to do it, so I did.

Trouble precedes Ardis Cole to the site of a Han Dynasty tomb in China. Dr. Yong Po, who has asked for her assistance, is being stalked by a person wearing a crimson opera mask. Ardis is concerned when her co-worker, Grant Merlin, fails to arrive at the project, and his ex-wife, Sheri, takes his place. More problems arise when Sheri is attacked on the cliffs by the same masked intruder. Ardis' search for the tomb of emperor Sun Yan leads to ancient intrigue surrounding a captive princess, referred to in his poetry as the "Lady of White Jade." As Ardis delves deeper into the tomb's secret, a centuries old crime of passion is eerily replayed in the present.

In the sleepy town of Bratislava in 1933 a romantic girl falls for a bookseller from Berlin. Greta Weissensteiner, daughter of a Jewish weaver, slowly settles in with the Winkelmeier clan just as the developments in Germany start to make waves in Europe. The political climate in the multifaceted cultural jigsaw puzzle of Czechoslovakia becomes more complex and affects the fragile relations between the couple and the families.
The story follows their lot through the war with its predictable and also its unexpected turns and events and the equally hard times after
This book is part of a Trilogy, currently loosely entitled “The Three Nations Trilogy”. The novels all deal with similar themes of home and identity in various Central European Countries affected by war and political changes.

Hello everyone. I'm looking for some more reviews for The Nameless Dwarf (the complete 5-book series in one volume). My goal is to reach 20 reviews on Amazon and Goodreads by the end of May.
If you enjoy fantasy and would like to take a look, please email me at derekprior@yahoo.co.uk or leave me a message on Goodreads. Thank you so much.
"Fantasy Adventure Book of the Year for 2012". It is THAT good!" - R. Nicholson (Amazon top 1000 reviewer)
Red to the elbows with the blood of his people, the Nameless Dwarf’s only desire is to save the ones who got away.
The dwarves have gone!
Thousands have been slaughtered in the blood-drenched streets of their ravine city by one of their own wielding a demonic axe.
The survivors have fled beyond the mountains, heading into a realm haunted by the nightmares of a twisted god.
When Nils Fargin, son of an underworld boss, is hired to find them, he travels with his client to seek the advice of a lowlife mage. With what he learns, he should have asked for more money.
The trail leads them to the domain of the terrifying Ant-Man, who is rumored to eat the flesh of anyone refusing to pay his toll.
And as if that wasn’t enough, it turns out Nils’s client is none other than the Nameless Dwarf, better known to his kind as the Ravine Butcher.
The Nameless Dwarf is an epic tale of remorse and redemption that pits a whiskerless thief, a guilt-driven assassin, a consumptive wizard, and an amnesiac dwarf against the worst imaginings of a craven mind.
But the companions bring troubles of their own, not least of which is an ancient grimoire that leads them inexorably towards a forest of tar and an evil that threatens the existence of an entire race.
The last hope of the dwarves comes from the unlikeliest of sources: a mythical city beneath the waves, an axe from the age of heroes, and the Nameless Dwarf, in whose veins flows the blood of legends.

If you enjoy lesbian erotic romance, with light BDSM elements, I'm sure you'll love this tale.

HAVANA QUEEN
Praised by SiriusXM Radio as "Book of the year" and denounced by Havana as one of Washington's "subversive acts against the Cuban government."
So, the Castros have given it one star, if that. I could use some reviews from those with an nonideological stance!

Have you ever seen an abandoned dog on the street and wondered what will happen to him? In this wonderful and heart-warming children's book for kids aged 3 to 6 years old, a lost Boxer dog’s life changes forever when a lovely woman, Lee, finds him. She calls him Richard and takes him home. Lee only wants to help, but isn’t sure how her sad daughter, Jessie, will feel about the new visitor. Giving an abandoned dog a new home isn’t always that easy, you know.
Will he stay with Lee and Jessie or will he have to go to the shelter? Life is full of surprises, and for every lost soul there is a mate somewhere. Maybe Richard is meant to be with Jessie and Lee. Maybe he can cheer Jessie up. And maybe… just maybe… they can change each other’s lives forever.

"Skeletons of Birkbury" was a really entertaining and gripping read. I loved the setting in the English countryside. Febry's vivid descriptions of the characters and scenery made me feel like I was taking a little trip there. The main characters were well-conceived, fleshed-out, and believable. The plot involves investigators looking into a twenty-year old murder case in the countryside and uncovering dark secrets in a small village; it combines a small-town cozy feel with sinister motives and actions. A great read for a chilly winter's day by the fireplace - highly recommended!

But also do take into account that TBR lists can be deceptive. I am first and foremost a writer and never get the time to read as much as I would like. However my TBR consists not only of books I see when browsing or through recommendations. Titles, including classics that I would like to read one day are added and books that I commit to read, mainly for other Indies.
I do quite often take longer than I intend to read books received for a review but if I say I will read a book I will. If I promise to read a book for a review it definitely does not go to the bottom of my TBR because, at my rate, I probably have a 15 year supply!

Me too, Misty. if I didn't add a book when I saw it I would forget about it. I love building this huge, virtual library. Some books I will probably never get around to but it's nice to see all the options there!

My best work is an epic fantasy trilogy which begins with Part I "Journey to Light." This is a long complex story with many characters and multiple shifts in scene. I realize that not everyone likes this type of book.
"A Princess of Fae" is a short fantasy-comedy with a warped sense of humor. Please see the review by D.E.M. Emrys on Goodreads. (No, I do not know him and did not pay him for the review, but he is obviously an astute reader.)
"Jesika's Angel," a sci-fi novel, is my first book. I got better later but I still think this is pretty good.
Also - I am willing to exchange reviews. I prefer books in my own genres but will keep an open mind about others. Send me a PM or email me at bobcraton1947@gmail.com
