LOL! I take the Kindle all the time, although I usually have a hard bound book with me, as well. But I always have the Kindle just in case I get stuck somewhere!

Haha, it's Funny because i always leave the house with a bag with everyones stuff in it, but what i can NEVER leave without, is the book i am currently reading. A new book. My ipod (With all my writing notes in it), and my USB. :)

1. Makeup bag.
2. iPhone.
3. Kobo eReader or the book I'm currently reading.
4. Notebook and pen.
5. Earbuds.

My Blackberry (mainly for internet use than anything else) and iTouch. If my Kobo were a bit smaller I'd probably take that everywhere with me because I don't have a reading app on either my phone or iTouch, but it's a bit too heavy to carry around in my bag :(
