Favorite Romance Genre: I really love cliche contemporary romance the most. I always come back to it.
Finished the line: I own over 500 books I haven't read yet and not a day goes by where I don't look for another to add to my collection

First romance novel read: Punishment of a Vixen by Barbara Cartland (My Mom gave it to me when I was 12 and asked for a "grown-up" book)

Finished the line: I know I'm a book addict because without discipline I could easily turn the house into a "Hoarders" house but full of just books (thank goodness for self control and used book stores and charities that take books)

Favorite Romance Genre: Paranormal and Historical.. and Contemporary.. God, I just can't choose! I love them all! =)
Finished the line: I know I'm a book addict because I'm constantly reading. And if I'm not reading I'm in a bookstore or visiting booksites online. I have a long list of books I want to buy, even though I have a huge pile of unread books at home. But that doesn't really stop me from buying new ones anyway. I'm running out of space and I don't care about furniture and other things, I'm actually willing to sacrifice a thing or two as long as I can make room for my books.

Finished the line: I know I'm a book addict because I can't walk out of a store without buying a book. I always have at least 10 books sitting beside my bed. My husband bought me an iPad so I would start buying ebooks so we could save space in the house.

First Romance Novel Read - Wow! That's way longer ago than I want to admit but I read a ton. My favorite are contemporary romances by Susan Wiggs, Susan Mallery (the Susan's are figuring big here!), Kristin Higgins, Jennifer Cruise and, of course, Nora Roberts.
I also write contemporary romance and have one published now through Amazon, Better Than Chocolate, which is a light contemporary romance. I think it's good but I'm biased. You can check it out on my web site www.patamsden.com which will also tell you more about me. Quite possibly more than you want to know but I'll leave that up to you to decide.

First Romance Novel Read: Maris, by Grace Livingston Hill (when I was a teen-ager ... since then I've read over 100 of her books)
Favorite Romance Genre: normally Christian romance, but I absolutely LOVED the Twilight series.
I know I'm a book addict because I've read 40 books this year, I can't drive past a book store without stopping, and I keep buying books even though my "to- read" shelf (at home, not on goodreads) has about 100 books on it!
I am eager to meet many of you, and begin one of the challenges.

First Romance Novel Read (that you can remember): Do Mills and Boon count :) One of the 70s ones... Victoria Holt, probably. My mother has a million of those.
Favorite Romance Genre: I like paranormal, but I'm really curious to see what Omnific does with their new Alternative Romance line.
Finished the line: I know I'm a book addict because... My idea of an ideal weekend is a chair in the sun with lots of cold drinks and a stack of books. I get nervous when I don't have two or three books on tape in the car waiting their turn.

Welcome Stephanie! - I sympathise with your lack of bookshelf space. Mine are going in bags on the floor, in wardrobe drawers, desk drawers etc...
I must admit I love my kindle because I can put so many books on it without worrying about shelf space. That doesn't mean I don't like print books anymore but I have to admit I read way less of them. Welcome to the group Stephanie. Again Renae I keep downloading so many books on my kindle that unless I leave it at home the problem of no books is unlikely.
