Birthday: October 10Favorite Color: Purple
Favorite Food: Sandwiches and Vegetarian Mexican
First Romance Novel Read (that you can remember): Some random Harlequin Romance when I was about 15 (sexy parts are amusing when you're an adolescent)
Favorite Romance Genre: Vampires!!!!!
Finished the line: I know I'm a book addict because I .... NEVER leave the house without a book, daydream about my favorite literary vampire (Eric Northman), would most of the time rather be home reading than being with friends or family, spent 4 lovely years in college reading literature from all genres and time periods, and buy more books than is ever possible to read in a timely manner- and don't feel guilty about any of it! Oh! And I can literally spend hours in any given bookstore simply looking.
Hi! I'm Christine and...Birthday: Feb 27
Favorite Color: Forest Green
Favorite Food: Chocolate's a food, right?
First Romance Novel Read (that you can remember): It was one of my mother's Harlequin books. I can't remember the name, just that I was shocked at how graphic the writing got. Of course, that didn't stop me from borrowing my mom's books often after that.
Favorite Romance Genre: Historical
Finished the line: I know I'm a book addict because.... reading has come between me and my boyfriend several times, I always carry a book in my purse (and have one in my car and at work and in the bathroom), I dream about the stories I read and try to improve upon them (usually by putting myself in the heroine's role), and I can't stop buying new books even though I have ten unread ones sitting on my bookshelf.

Angie, lobster and red wine? Hopefully not together. Surely a medium bodied chardonnay. But even if it turns out you do abuse your palette in such a way, you are welcome. For that matter, everyone is always welcome. Maybe not the spammers, but even they have a place in this world.

First Romance Novel Read (that you can remember): Double Love (Sweet Valley High) had to look up the title but that's the first one I remmber reading.
Favorite Romance Genre: Paranormal at the moment
Finished the line: I know I'm a book addict because... when I'm not reading I'm either on the internet talking about books or planning what I want to read next while I do the housework etc. I read a lot when I was younger then not for ages, but I borrowed Stephanie Plum books off my sister-in-law last year and my reading addiction was re-born!!!

Finished the line: I know I'm a book addict because I carry a book everywhere, I even read while walking in public (not a treadmill). At least I can say I've never stepped over a troublesome corpse that goes by the name of Harry ... at least I don't think I have.
Leah *~*Pherocious*~* wrote: "Jen! Welcome to the group. When I'm not reading I'm either online talking about books or planning what to read next, too, LOL :)"I'm guessing that could be said about a few other people on here too!

Hello everyone! I just joined your group since I felt a huge connection with most of you... I do almost all of the above -see:read while I'm supposed to be working/studying/doing-anything-other-than-read, spend more in books than clothes, prefer to stay in with a good book than go out etc. etc. So, about me:
Birthday: November 28
Favorite Color: Black
Favorite Food: I'm not good with anything of this category(see:favorite something) but Chocolate works fine I guess... If that doesn't count, a couple of Greek dishes or something chicken-y will do. Or Chinese... or..(see why I'm no good at this?)
First Romance Novel Read(that you can remember): The first that I can remember is Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen. Loved it then (that's why it stuck I guess), love it now and probably will love it in the future. It's just... Classic!
Favorite Romance Genre: Favorites again? :/ Urban, paranormal, historical? Anything does it, depending on the mood, of course.
Finished the line: I know I'm a book addict because (apart from the comments above) there are times that I forget to eat because I'm reading and even worse, times when I do not sleep until I literally can't keep my eyes open any longer because I can't leave a book down... If that's not addict behavior I don't know what is!
That's all for now! It's nice meeting you all!
P.S.: Sorry for the huuuge comment! *blushes*
Jen, you're definitely right. That probably applies to many of the people here, LOL. Like Ang said, I'm always on here talking to her and our girl Jasmin when I'm not reading, LOL

It's going pretty good. I had a long day today. I had to wake up early so I could go to school to take a practice AP US History test because it's a really intense test and I'm taking the actual one on a couple weeks. Then I went with my friends to work on our project. I had fun with them so that was nice. How's your weekend been?

Yeah, I have a few friends that I like to hang out with, and I try to hang out with my friends from grammar school that I still talk to but it's not always easy. A reunion would be fun; I hope someone plans one for you guys :) Yeah, it really is hilarious that we talk in like a trillion threads.Welcome to the group, Shabrien!

Birthday: February 18thFavorite Color: green! (bright, lime, vivid only please!)
Favorite Food: that which I can't have anymore! Mexican!
First Romance Novel Read (that you can remember): Hmmm..... HMMMM.... okay, first real "romance" I can remember is Boy Meets Boy. But since almost every book I've read since I can remember had something of romance in it, I think Alanna: The First Adventure ought to count too!
Favorite Romance Genre: I'd have to say I've really grown into the erotica genre, but I do love most Romance! (just please no teen angst!)
Finished the line: I know I'm a book addict because I just stayed up til 5 am last night reading a new series! I had worked my way through books 1 and 2 from about 6pm to 1 or 2 am, then was working on the third when I even realized what time it was! And this sort of thing happens pretty often when I get a juicy new book into my hands! (P.S. ...also because I own over 1000 books in real, and have over 20 GB of eBooks on my laptop!)
Also! Hiya everyone! Glad to be here. :D
