Prometheus Bound
question
Is there a novelization of the movie, Prometheus? Does anyone understand the movie?

This movie raised more questions than it answered. The only question it answered was: how was the alien creature created?

Its not Prometheus Bound that's for sure. Prometheus Bound is about the Titan Prometheus Chained to Rock for stealing fire and giving it to Humans. (The title of the Movie is probably an oblique reference to this myth)
I think that the movie is inspired more by the HP Love craft story "At the Mountains of Madness" and some New Age bullshit about aliens creating humans that always crops up once in a while.
Cool movie though I loved many of the visuals and the aliens were cool the story was decent (even though I'm not always a fan of the aliens create humanity premise)

Prometheus Bound is the 1st play of an early trilogy by Aeschylus.
Scott's film uses the god's nomen to provoke the greater main (and many other) questions posed by film's ideas.
Alas! Only this one play has survived.
It would be great to see how Aeschylus concludes the conflict between Prometheus and Zeus.
