Hello to All, I am a new member of the group, author of a clean romance I just posted in the Author section, and a voracious reader. When I wrote my book, Random Placement, the romance evolved as gentle and poetic (I was an English major and I love poetry!) I'm happy to be a member of the group and look forward to your reviews and recommendations for more books for me to read. I also hope any of you who choose to read my book will enjoy it and find it worthwhile!

Hi Lindsay! Welcome to the group! Be sure to add your favorite clean romances to the group bookshelf. :O)
im kinda new to this group and i was wondering is this a group that shows books that have minimal laungage?
I think that is a different consideration. There's a whole separate discussion, but I don't think those books are marked as such.
I'm new to this group. I normally write inspirational romantic suspense and contemporary romance, but recently I have put out a sweet romance (not Christian) as an ebook. You can check Deadly Race here:http://www.amazon.com/Deadly-Race-ebo...
I'm working on another one called Love Gone to the Dogs which I hope to have up soon.
Hi, I'm also new to this group. I'm an avid reader and author. I especially like books set in less common settings. My most recent and upcoming books are Inspirationals. But I've also written five clean romances for Avalon Books.Jean C. Gordon

I think I've had that come up when I've googled my name. :)
Hello, Lindsay! Nice to meet you! I'm an author, as well, and I love to read and write clean romance. Good to see I'm not the only one. :)

Thanks, Ginger! :)
HI! I'm relatively new to Goodreads. I LOVE Clean Romance's. They are so hard to find, but are so worth the effort!

Very true! It's nice that people still appreciate clean reads, though. That makes the job of writing them easier, and more fulfilling.

Welcome to Goodreads!
Thank you! I self published my first book, since the publishing companies I sent it too didn't want it because it was clean. I was beginning to think I was one of a dying breed of reader/writers!
So, I'm still trying to understand how Goodreads works. I've got down the whole rating books you've read to find other books similar, but the Author's side of things I haven't quite figured out. This is the first time I've been part of a group discussion too, so I'm a newbie at the whole thing. Any advice for a new author?
Welcome to all our new members, both readers and writers! Readers are invited to add any clean romances they've read to our group bookshelf that aren't already there, as long as they are clean and generally secular. (A mention of God won't get a book booted off the shelf, but " inspirational" should not be the main theme of the book.) Authors are also welcome to add their own titles that meet the same criteria. Remember to assign any book you add to one of our sub genres so our readers can track down quickly new books they're looking for in that category.
We're thrilled to have you all here!

Hi, I'm not that new, but I still get confused by social media! It's nice to meet you. This is such a supportive group and always willing to answer questions. Looking forward to getting to know you!
Social Media can be a bit of a headache. There are so many "author" things to do on Goodreads, I get lost, too, and I've been here a while. I'd start with making sure that your books and your profile are linked (you can do this by performing a search for your books, and when you click on one, there should be a part near the bottom of the page that asks if you're the author), and making sure that your blog/website is linked to Goodreads.
This is the Goodreads author page. There's much more info on here: http://www.goodreads.com/author/program
Best of luck, Bethany! Once again, glad to meet you. :)
