Sarah MacPherson | 5 comments Hi,
Saying hello from Indiana. I enjoy many different kinds of books, both fiction and non-fiction, but mysteries are definitely my first love, starting way back with Nancy Drew and Trixie Belden. Right now I'm reading Martha Grime's Belle Ruin, and I also started (I'm usually reading more than one book at a time) Steven F. Havill's Scavengers. I'm still exploring the site and getting to know the ins and outs, but I know I'll get plenty of great recommendations here.

Welcome Sarah. Recommendations can be a joy or a curse - depending on your reading time and book buying budget!

Glad you found us.

Bill Welcome to the group, Sarah. I used to enjoy Nancy Drew as well when I started getting into books. I also remember reading the Dana Sisters and Trixie Belden.. Much preferred to the Hardy Boys, although I did read them too.. Enjoy the group. I think you're right, you'll get lots of good suggestions here.

Hi Sarah, I recently found a copy of the first Nancy Drew story, and I can't wait to re-read it. Welcome to the group.

I've reread a few Nancy Drews, but Trixie is on my perpetual reread list, along with Judy Bolton, Connie Blair, Vicki Barr, The Three Investigators, and Howard Pease's Tod Moran series. Still love them.
