I believe the first people came as a group so ther was more than one in the first installment. It has been awhile since I've read it so that could be wrong. Keep reading its a good story don't let a little thing like math hold you back ;)
haha boy do i know that feeling! Happened to me yesterday... I started giggling because of something i thought of and i couldn't stop! haha :) my family thought i was going crazy :)
fyi... he'll do that the entire book. (inconsistent) so if that sort of thing bugs you, i recommend stop. otherwise carry on and enjoy!
a bunch came at the begining then after that 1 a month
They came first as a group and then one every month. And Alby was just being a shuck face. He was joking. Lol.

Maybe Alby wasn't the first.

Alby claims to have been there 2 years and that's no one's been there longer than him. He also said that 1 new person comes every month. If no one had died (although I'm sure some have) that would mean there'd be 24 people living in the Glade. Now this is the weird thing: Early in the book, Thomas said that "There had to be at least fifty of them" so either James Dashner can't count or I'm missing something or I'll find out later in the book.
Please NO SPOILERS but can someone tell me if there's a reason for this?
