There was a time when all of us from the south were called madrasis by the gosayis. ;) . Then At a time we malayalis consciously made an attempt to be called mallus. We r special people Na? How can they club us with the rest of south India ;) .Atlast as the name has stuck now we r getting a little irritated when we r called mallus.
