Question about merging a book

So, I am trying to fix this book

The hardcover copy has isbn 9781451693478. But there is an Untitled blank edition that already has that ISBN so I can't assign it to the hardcover, which is where it belongs. I tried to combine but that only allows me to merge all editions of one book with all editions of another, not merge the two book records.

How should I get this corrected?

Here is a step by step.

1. Go to the book page for ISBN 9781451693478.
2. Update all the info on that record to be correct (cover, format, etc.) for that ISBN. (You can copy it from the other edition)
3. Separate ISBN 9781451693478 and the edition to be merged so that they are combined with only each other.
4. Go to the book page for the edition without an ISBN. Use the "delete this book" link at the bottom of the edit page.
5. Re-combine the reamining edition with the rest.
