Ellie Ann (ellie_ann) | 4 comments This is awesome discussion. I've learned so much through reading the comments.

I just released a Persian steampunk science fiction, The Silver Sickle. It's about a girl trapped in a harem who must take down an evil regime. It's like Biblical Esther meets District 9. With robots. I also wanted to replace Victorian England with Persia. It's not steampunk, but it does have steampunk tendencies!

Anna Erishkigal (annaerishkigal) I'm a Goodreads author, but I haven't personally tried my hand at Steampunk yet. I joined this group because some of my awesome writers critique group have written some great pieces (both YA and adult ... not yet published) and they've whetted my appetite for the genre. Several members belong to a Steampunk re-enactors group (I blame THEM for the leather steampunk corset!) At some point the time-travel western rattling around in my head will be put to paper :-) ... until then I'll peruse what the rest of y'all write about.

Hello. If you like romance, I just wrote a steampunk romance called Prince of Hearts. It's a mash up with automaton dogs, dirigibles, a Sherlockian setting, and a pretty steamy romance between a criminologist and his secretary. It's only 2.99, and the link is http://www.amazon.com/author/margaret...

You can check out the reviews there, and there is one on this website as well ( yay!) It's pretty light, fun reading.

Scott Kinkade | 45 comments Hi, I'm Scott. I'm the author of the Infini Calendar series. The first book, The Game Called Revolution, takes steampunk elements and adds them to the French Revolution. It's $3.99 on Kindle.

T.R. Goodman (trgoodman) Hi,

I'm TR Goodman, and I'm an author who writes mostly steampunk, but sometimes with a heavy dollop of fantasy. I'm best known for my steampunk fantasy novel, My Name Is Michael Bishop, where a father accidentally traps himself in the body of a steampunk golem in an effort to save his daughter from a magical disease.

I am also working on a series of short stories called The Tales of Abigail Abernathy. The title character is an Ada Lovelace-like woman in 1880 who works as an IT technician for a Bristol-based shipping company. I describe it as Jane Austin meets the IT Crowd.

Both are listed below. If anyone would like a free review copy of either, just let me know.
