I just posted an excerpt of my steampunk WIP if you'd like to read it. I'll fan all of you who put your links up here =)

Cheers! C.K. Garner

anthology.

Just a note, I don't use it because I like to keep my writings portable. GoogleDocs/Drive is good for me. Though, you could use Drive or Dropbox or something like that if you are only going between actual computers. I just like to have mine accessible via tablet as well.

You can find the link itinerary here on my blog: http://hazelwest.blogspot.com/2012/08...

'His skin was turning a darker shade of iron,
his irises widening,
forming numerals
on the white face of a glass pocket watch'

Thanks Hazel, I'm really glad that you like it. I thought it was very unique as well. I do a feature on my blog where on the first of the month I feature a brand new poem, it's called 'New Poem of the Month for ...' and tomorrow I'm showcasing my new steampunk poem 'My Clockwork Heart' - I hope you will check it out and tell me what you think :)

I cant say I've ever seen any. Way to go! :)

p.s thanks for the friend request Craig

Unfortunately, I'm a little stuck on my steampunk novel right now. It's a mystery and my villain is giving me problems and since he's kind of the most important part of the plot, well... But I'm working on a historical Roman novel right now and I'm aiming for my steampunk one to be out by next spring. =)

The third story, Reggiecide, will be coming out soon and I'm working on the fourth story, The Aunt Paradox.

I forgot to come in and mention that Greaveburn is now very much alive! From all major online retailers and Reader's. I hope you get chance to take a look. I'd love to know what you all think :)

In a nutshell it's about a girl who creates a mechanical man--who escapes her lab--hijinks ensue... I am starting to outline the sequel, The Time Tinkerer.

I call it "steampunk-lite" lol
It's about a woman who tangles with a serial killer while trying to find an ancient artifact.

It's about a woman who goes in search of Atlantis in order to get accepted into an archaeological society.

Your idea sounds really interesting. Would it take place in the Victorian era or would you set it in ancient times? (I love the idea of clockwork in biblical times.)

Thanks for the encouraging words! I've definitely learned a lot from writing this novel that I'll be able to apply to the next one. Whatever people think of it, I've definitely enjoyed the journey. :D

Captain Gravenor's Airship Equinox, FREE on Amazon Dec 8-10. Clean steampunk romance
http://www.amazon.com/Captain-Graveno...
blurb:
Tinkerer extraordinaire Philadelphia Hardcastle is horrified to learn her late brother sold her animal management inventions to the British Air Enforcement for nefarious purposes. Distraught, she feels suicide is the only way to pay for her deadly mistakes.
When Brecon Gravenor, a smuggler and airship builder, saves a woman teetering at the edge of a cliff, he discovers he has rescued the infamous and reclusive Dr. Castle. They are imprisoned by the Red Kite free traders in Wales, who want her human containment devices.
Philadelphia is willing to give the free traders the secrets of her inventions if it helps liberate enslaved men, but she’s a lady used to independence. Brecon has no intention of helping her escape. Especially when he realizes she has a price on her head and he’s the only one who can save her.
Captain Gravenor’s Airship Equinox is a 33,000-word steampunk adventure.

I also wrote this:
Slave To Marshmallows: A Steampunk Fairy Tale
It's a fairy tale, though I am not sure who the audience of it should be. It's free on Kindle right now, so let me know. :)

(And if you don't win the paperback, you can put it on your wish list for the holidays as they are on sale too!)
It's also probably the most exciting story I've ever written in my life. I guess that's what happens when you think up the idea for it at 3 in the morning!
Here's the amazon and book webpage links.

By the way, the novel is also an eBook Award national finalist (top three in the nation!) in the Action/Adventure Category.

Not a writer myself but Dave Freer just released his second Steampunk _The Steam Mole_ sequel to _Cuttlefish_.
