Hi TJ - another Lisa here - I'm from snowy and cold Iowa. Lisa - I would much rather be in snowy Colorado at one of the ski resorts!

Welcome TJ! I'm in snowy, icy CT. I lucked out today and didn't have to shovel snow. I got to stay in nice and warm and read to my heart's content. whoohoo!
From a skiing perspective Iowa is pretty flat - there are some small ski hills though - perfect for teaching kids how to ski and for just plain desparation! Now, from a bicycling perspective, there are HUGE hills! Ever heard of RAGBRAI? It's a week-long bike ride across Iowa!
