But now you are...and then you're gonna end up on the telly, in shows like the Mentalist, 'cos of something dumb like, hey, I'm in love with my father and he doesn't love me, so imma go into a quiet room with him and oh look there's a shiny silver candlestick, oh hey, daddy, what's that out the window- kaBOOSH. And the next thing we see on the screen is a perfect male model with stubble and sex hair and the bluest eyes bleeding on the ground, and then there are high heel tracks, stilettos nonetheless, leading out of the room, staining the carpet a deep scarlet, and then we pan to the lovely wife, searching the house with her Nerf gun, ready for a playful game of dart tag when she walks into the room and finds her husband lying in a pool of his own blood, the only clue as to who harmed him being the missing silver candlestick that their daughter had hated so much. The wife throws herself at her husband's dying body, screaming, "No! You were too perfect to die!" And in the midst of her loud, mournful sobs she doesn't hear the stiletto footsteps behind her. Her husband closes his eyes and lets out a quiet breath, "I love you, Eleanor..." before he quietly gives up the ghost. His wife, heartbroken, stays there, sobbing over his body, not noticing her husband's attacker behind her, bloody silver candlestick raised, coming down in a quick flash before she too is gone, right alongside her husband.

They are not discovered until the next morning when a family friend comes over, desiring to borrow a mirror because his own wife confiscated it, as a joke. Looking around the house to quickly greet Louis and Eleanor, he finds the study door slightly ajar, and slowly enters, finding the two bodies on the ground in their final embrace, tears staining El's cheeks.

Patrick Jane and Theresa Lisbon arrive an hour later, surveying the scene. This touches Jane's dormant heart, as he had once known a love like that. Silently he walked forward and knelt next to the husband and wife, vowing to get revenge on whoever had killed the perfect couple so ruthlessly...
